    The Jerry Springer Podcast

The Jerry Springer Podcast: Tales, Tunes and Tomfoolery is a weekly mix of comedy, liberal political talk and roots music performed by up and coming song writers and groups. Jerry is joined by Jene Galvin and Megan Hils as they compare their dissimilar lives, convo about events of the day and occasionally welcome a phone guest, some real and others you wonder. Like State Senator Tip Kemper, who recently proposed a literacy bill requiring citizens to read a book a month and submit a written report to the government at the post office. But in the middle of each episode, Jerry shows his serious side with a unique take on a current political or social issue drawing from his years as Cincinnati’s mayor and top ranked news anchor. Performed before a small audience at the Folk School Coffee Parlor in Ludlow, Kentucky, The Jerry Springer Podcast is live streamed at jerrryspringer.com and Facebook Live and archived on the podcast’s website and all major podcast apps.

Too Much Vacation: Episode 44 Mar 09, 2016
    Show notes

Jerry and Jene talk about the fact that we’re now heard live through a stream on our website. Tonight is the first night! Go to JerrySpringer.com/listen to try it out. Jerry and Jene whine that Megan gets so much vacation time and they get none. They call Megan, who is in Key West about to board a cruise ship. Jene tells Jerry a reporter called him to try to reach Jerry to get some comments for a preparatory obit for someone who isn’t even sick. The subject’s name will not even be hinted at, but the fact that this is even done will be joked about. Clearly that might be done for a celebrity like Jerry. But for Jene??? Then, Jerry talks about his time in Iowa doing work for the BBC. Our musical guest is Honey and Houston.

Jerry believes Hillary Clinton is the less risky candidate. A right-wing Congress and a right-wing president, he says, would be disastrous.

Our musical guest this week is Maria Carelli.
