Furness Show 3-11: NFL free agency, Curtis Crabtree and Mollywhop! Mar 11, 2024

Show notes

It's officially "stupid season" as teams are throwing obscene amounts of money at free agents. The Seahawks are quiet so far, aside from some cuts and restructuring Tyler Lockett's deal. Ian cares about the storylines of spring training, but the games? Not so much. The wide receivers, running backs and starting quarterback are all locked up for Seattle. Colby Parkinson's deal with the Rams is an example of overspending during this period. The Seahawks need three offensive linemen and a tight end on offense. What will they do at safety? Plus, what about the defensive line? Ian wants Leonard Williams back. Curtis Crabtree, FOX 13 joins Ian as we wade through the waters of the NFL tampering period and free agency. What does the defensive line look like now and what can we hope for? Curtis thinks resigning Jordan Brooks makes sense. He also breaks down what the Seahawks have currently on the offensive line and what they need to add. MOLLYWHOP MONDAY! Chris Crawford and Nathan Bishop give a rundown on the Mariners in Spring Training as they stand right now. While sometimes there can be a negative tone to their conversations, they are a little optimistic this time around. What's their level of concern around the bullpen? Nathan has confidence. Chris mentions this is a far cry from the '90s when the bullpen was not a strong point for the team.
