Breathe Series: (1) He sees me, I am not alone Oct 01, 2026
    Show notes

Over the next 4 weeks Lina will be sharing a bible teaching called “Breathe: Finding Rest in the God Who Sees.”

Life can feel overwhelming—sometimes exciting, sometimes exhausting—and it’s easy to get swept up in emotions that leave us feeling unanchored. But Scripture is full of stories about people just like us, wrestling with the gap between what they see and what they feel.

The story of Hagar in Genesis depicts a woman who was frantic with fear and uncertainty. She was a pawn in someone else’s game of self-control. Hagar experienced the God who sees in the midst of her wandering and His words transformed her. He offers the same for each of us – the promise that He sees us and we are not alone.

What happens when college students say YES to God [Special Episode] Sep 19, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when a few college students say YES to God?

On September 14, student-athletes at the University of Toledo organized a Night of Worship and Baptism, and nearly 400 people showed up.

They expected about five people to be baptized. By the end of the night, 50 had stepped into the water.

“How the night came to be, was a mighty work of the Lord,” said Ben Sahakian.

In this special episode, Lina talks with her nephew Ben Sahakian, one of the catalysts behind the event, about how a simple vision became a night of worship, testimonies, the Gospel, and lives changed.

Living With Power had the privilege of helping sponsor the night, but this story is really about what can happen when young people are willing to step out in faith and let God do the rest.

The Gen Z Series: (40) What does success look like for the Christian? Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

We all want our lives to mean something. We want to accomplish something, make an impact, and know that what we’re doing matters.

But what does success actually look like when you follow Jesus?

In this episode of the Gen Z Series, Lina talks about why biblical success is rooted in faithfulness, not achievement.

She explores what Kingdom success really looks like, why our accomplishments were never meant to validate us, and how following Jesus’ example changes the way we define a successful life.

The Gen Z Series: (39) What if my life doesn’t turn out like I thought? Sep 10, 2026
    Show notes

What do you do when your life looks nothing like you thought it would?

Maybe your plans changed. Maybe everyone else seems ahead of you. Maybe you’re starting to wonder if God really does have good plans for your life.

Here’s the truth: a changed plan doesn’t mean a failed life.

Romans 8 reminds us that God works all things together for good, and Genesis 50 shows us that He can even take what was meant for evil and use it for His purposes.

In this episode of the Gen Z Series, we talk about four things to remember when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Your life may not be turning out the way you expected, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t at work. There is purpose even in the changed plans.

    The Gen Z Series: (38) What if I don’t have enough? Sep 03, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when the money runs out, or when you don’t have enough?

For Gen Z, financial pressure is real. Rising costs, uncertain jobs, and the possibility of having to move back home can make not having enough feel overwhelming.

But what if seasons of lack are also opportunities to learn deeper dependence on God?

In this episode, Lina talks about what to do when you don’t have enough and unpacks three biblical responses.

You’ll learn how to bring your needs honestly to God, do the next faithful thing with what He has given you, and allow God’s people to help carry the strain.

If you’re worried about having enough for your future, this conversation will remind you where your security ultimately comes from.

The Gen Z Series: (37) What do I do with all the money I have? Aug 27, 2026
    Show notes

The Gen Z POV: I’ve got to make enough money to set my family up.

But what if the extra you have isn’t just for you?

In this episode, Lina talks about what it means to handle money from a biblical perspective. God gives us resources not simply to raise our standard of living, but to expand our capacity for generosity.

You’ll discover that what God has given you is both a gift to enjoy with gratitude and a responsibility to steward well. You’ll also learn why guarding your heart from the love of money matters, no matter how much or how little you have.

The Gen Z Series: (36) How much money do I need? Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

    How much money is enough?

It’s easy to believe that the more money we make, the more we can do for God. But what if God isn’t nearly as concerned with how much we have as He is with how much we trust Him?

In this episode of the Gen Z Series, Lina talks about the lie that God needs our money and why contentment is about far more than settling for less. She unpacks what it looks like to trust God to meet our needs, find contentment in every season, and surrender our finances to Him one day at a time.

If you’ve ever wondered how much money you really need—or struggled with the pressure to always have more—this conversation will help you rethink money through the lens of faith, contentment, and trust in God.

The Gen Z Series: (35) Why is money such a big deal? Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

    “If I don’t have money, I can’t be happy.”

Money has a powerful pull on our lives. We want enough of it to feel secure, successful, and free, but what does our relationship with money reveal about our relationship with God?

In this episode, Lina unpacks why money matters so much in the life of a Christian. Jesus talked about money often because it’s more than a financial issue, it’s a window into our hearts.

If you’ve ever wondered how to think about money, success, security, and generosity as a follower of Jesus, this conversation is for you.

And if you want to dig deeper into this topic, read chapter 9 of All Your Life.
