2. Chelsea Otten tells her story about how being "That Music Teacher" to her own representative made her want to speak out.

PRESIDENTIAL TRIVIA QUESTION

Redistricting Is Happening

Clean Missouri - We voted for a new plan that would use a non-partisan demographer, that was then changed again last fall and we are back to a political process
MO 1, MO 2, MO 5 - All look to be in play here
https://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/article253786858.html
Splitting Communities - “Community Districting”
Lack of competition across parties leads to extreme candidates

Missouri has Cori Bush and EmanuelCleaver, hard to imagine either could win in say the MO 3rd or 4th
Likewise, Jason Smith in the MO 8th would lose in the MO 1st by about 80%, give or take 10%

The Delta, Ep. 8: Survival of the Fittest: COVID or Politics Sep 15, 2021

Show notes

Nicholas Linke (host) is joined by his father, Tim Linke (guest), to talk about: how pseudo-science solutions to not being vaccinated result in natural selection when the biological forces of survival of the fittest and altruism are expressed within our political system.

First, an opening statement about the heliocentric model of the universe caused a paradigm shift in the image we have of ourselves.
Second, Nicholas discusses with his father how conversations about science and politics lead to interesting overlap when you allow for the grey area and not let labels polarize the conversation.
