R E A C H is comprised of award winning coaches and DI athletes turned consultants Carmen Mirochna and Fran Berlin. We genuinely look forward to welcoming international and domestic rowers to the US college scene. It is a pleasure to partner with you to maximize an amazing opportunity: collegiate athletics.

From the Division I coach perspective, we know just how much work the recruiting process requires from students during an incredibly busy period in their lives. We offer our relationships with professors and alumni, former colleagues, Athletic Directors, NCAA Department Directors, recruiting coordinators, Head Coaches and years of expertise at multiple levels of education and athletics. We lend peace of mind to parents and students navigating the athletic recruitment and college application process.

Fran Berlin rowed in the NCAA V8+ and graduated from Cornell University with a BS (Cum Laude). She has coached and recruited for winning teams at Cornell, Syracuse and Indiana Universities, and the University of Colorado. ACRA coach of the year, Fran has visited the medals dock multiple times as an athlete and coach at the Eastern Sprints, the BIG TEN Championship and the ACRAs. When she is not helping athletes excel she is traveling the country and world with her young family.

Carmen Mirochna double majored at Rutgers University, while earning multiple medals and competing in the NCAA V8+. She pursued her MPH at Lehigh University and coached for The Baldwin School, Lehigh, Cornell and Indiana Universities as well as The Bolles School. Her medals and honors range from the Stotesbury Cup, Knecht Cup, EAWRC Coach of the Year, BIG TEN BOAT of the week, and the IRA’s to winning the Dad Vail and the Patriot League Championships. Carmen has three boys and loves being outside with her family as much as possible.

High school gets them into college, but most students and their parents are not prepared for what's next. As a result, a record number of students struggle during the college years. New friendships, new classes, new schedules, new independence, new challenges, and new responsibilities can throw even the best and brightest. Most first-year students need help navigating the normal and natural changes ahead. Harlan helps students and parents get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

    About Mike:
Decades before mainstream America was discussing "Asking First" or sexual harassment cases were on the cover of every major media publication, Domitrz was being brought in by leading educational institutions and the U.S. military to help them pursue a new standard of consent and respect. With Mike being a Hall-of-Fame Speaker, the author of 3 books and an award-winning DVD, you get one of the leading influencers and thought-leaders on the topic of Respect.

You may have seen Mike on NBC Dateline as a featured subject matter expert or being quoted in international news publications such as Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. He is continuously being sought out for his proven track record of helping shift the paradigm for people.

In 2003, Mike founded what is now The Center for Respect which conducts keynotes and workshops for tens of thousands each year. Mike's extensive experience enables him to connect with audiences of all ages in honest, unique conversations that are always built on creating positive behavioral change for each individual and the organization as a whole. Imagine teaching 15-year-olds about “Asking First” and then later that same day talking with CEOs about creating mutually amazing relationships in the workplace.

And now in his unique weekend retreats, Mike is helping individuals and couples build mutually amazing relationships in every facet of their lives - from intimacy to loving relationships to workplace connections. Today, Mike is here with us.
