We discussed Horatio's one-liners and horse puns, former guest Kristine Debell crushing it, Juliet's creepy stepbrothers, Mr. Beetle being a bubble boy, and lots more.

American Ninja 2: The Confrontation Jul 08, 2021

Show notes

This week we are discussing "American Ninja 2: The Confrontation" which kicks some serious ass. This is a Cannon classic and one of our favorite sequels yet and we had a lot to discuss. We talked about the terrible Ninjas, Tojo's request of 3 bucks, Armstrong's perfect accuracy at throwing anything, Taylor's missing wife, and lots more. Plus an unreal, but true story that involves the film's Martial Coordinator Mike Stone, Elvis, and a hitman.

Show notes

Next week's sequel is "American Ninja 2" and this week we are talking with Director Sam Firstenberg. Sam is someone who has directed so many of my favorite movies at one of my favorite studios, Cannon Films. Sam is the King of the Sequels, which I told him at the top of our chat, and it's true. He's directed the sequels "Revenge of the Ninja", "Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo", and "American Ninja 2", just to name a few. Sam's journey to Hollywood from Jerusalem is so fascinating and it including a stop in the military on the way. Sam is a great storyteller who you will love.

Actor/Boxer Jack O'Halloran (Superman 1 & 2) Jun 17, 2021

Show notes

Next week's sequel is "Superman II" and this week we are talking with actor, boxer, and writer Jack O'Halloran. I knew Jack from his movies; Superman 1 & 2, King Kong, Hero and the Terror, and more, but I didn't know he was a boxer until I did my pre-interview research. Jack's boxing stories blew my mind and even non-boxing fans will know the names of George Foreman and Muhammad Ali. Jack has a book he wrote called "Family Legacy" and it's a great read, plus after hearing a few of his stories you'll want to scoop it up. Interesting chat.
