SCRIPTURE:
Joshua 1: 9
(Psalm 26)
Do not be afraid. Trust in God at all times for he is with you always, even when it's difficult to believe that He is present. "Give our Lord the benefit of believing that His hand is leading you and accept the anxiety of feeling yourself in suspense and incomplete."
Music:
"Adoramus Te Domine"
"Flow"
We hear the phrase, "Brothers and Sisters" used a lot in worship and prayer. It is meant to convey a sweeping inclusion of all people. But does it? Javier helps us broaden our perspective to appreciate the full impact of today's scripture.
Music: Love Devine All Loves Excelling
Mark 6: 7 - 13
The Gospel today is often referred to as the Sending of the Disciples. Jesus calls his disciples together and instructs them to go out two by two with little to distract them from their mission to preach and heal.
The Church is missionary. We are the Church. Therefore, we are called and sent forth to evangelize the world. Are you up for the challenge?
"Little Hymn To St. Joseph"
Lauren leads us today in the St. Joseph's Joys and Sorrows Devotion.
This devotion is traditionally prayed by reflecting on one sorrow and one joy and saying seven Our Fathers and seven Hail Marys on each of the seven Sundays leading up to the Solemnity of Saint Joseph on March 19th. Today we will pray a simple devotion reflecting on each of the joys and sorrows.
Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek God first, and all the rest will be given to you. Put God on the throne of your life and He promises to rule with mercy and favor. Here is a song that reminds us of just that....

Hebrews 11: 6
(Psalm 46)
Does God Exist? How often are we confronted with that truth? C.S. Lewis in his book "Mere Christianity," best explains this truth. We are not alone. We must earnestly seek God. Grace, patience and time are essential for us to know, love and serve the Lord and to know HE IS HERE among us.
Music:
"Just As I Am, Without One Plea"
"Richer Path"
Spiritual Work of Mercy - Instruct The Ignorant
It seems rather rude to have a Spiritual Work of Mercy that's called "Instruct the Ignorant." But the key here is the reality of "mercy." Each of us have been given the gifts of faith and understanding. Jesus invites us to share that gift of faith and understanding with others. Needless to say, it takes courage and great mercy to bring people to active live the Truth!
Music
"Come Thou Almighty King"
"Momentary"
3John 1: 4
We hear that heaven is for the "child-like." Sometimes it becomes necessary to realize that our perspective of "self" needs to return to that child-like nature in order to seek the grace and help of the loving Father.
"Morning Has Broken"
"Reminiscense"
2 Timothy 1: 7
Psalm 112
"Be Still My Soul"
God reminds us to be bold and strong win our daily lives. There is no place for timidity. God has given us a spirit to make us strong, loving, wise, with self-discipline and power to accomplish our daily tasks.
