GRATITUDE
by Brandon Lake
-----------
Lyrics:
Verse 1
All my words fall short
I got nothing new
How could I express
All my gratitude
Verse 2
I could sing these songs
As I often do
But every song must end
And You never do
Chorus
So I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah, hallelujah
And I know it’s not much
But I’ve nothing else fit for a king
Except for a heart singing hallelujah
Hallelujah
Verse 3
I’ve got one response
I’ve got just one move
With my arms stretched wide
I will worship You
Bridge
Come on my soul
Oh don’t you get shy on me
Lift up your song
‘Cause you’ve got a lion inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6: 19 - 21
(Psalm 119)
We have been given everything that we need to accomplish the work of the gospel. God has blessed us with many simple gifts that we can use to change the hearts and lives of those around us. We are indeed "BLESSED." Therefore, let us bless others.
MUSIC:
"Da Pacem Domine"
"Good Night Day"
Corporal Work of Mercy - To Shelter the Homeless
(Psalm 126)
“If you could walk in my shoes
You would see I paid my dues.
You would see how hard I tried,
You would see how hard I cried.
Your support could lift me up,
that would be amazing luck.
Trust me when I say,
a friend could make my day.
A little kind word can lift my soul,
a little kind word could make me whole.”

PROVERBS 15: 5
Nobody likes to be corrected. Even those (especially those!) who say they do enjoy critical feedback. There is something in us that bristles when someone suggests we could have done something better or that we missed the mark. But our scripture today reminds us that the virtue of prudence might help us, especially in the spiritual life, to accept such criticism as a means of growth and maturity. Justin suggests an excellent way that might happen...

SCRIPTURE: Zephaniah 3: 17
(Psalm 119)
Those of you who are fans of Marvel and DC comic heroes might often think of God and or Jesus as a superhero with a "mighty sword" or "magic shield." Our imagination can often lead us down the wrong image of a God who came to us poor and lowly, a God who emptied Himself out so that we might be saved. Let us put aside those distractions and look to our Mighty God as the one who saves us.

MARK 6: 30-34
The gospel today illumines the two sides of the spiritual coin: quiet and engagement. Resting and Doing. Contemplative and Apostolic. Fr. Ron asks if there is a balance in your life from which both sides can flourish?
The First Joyous Mystery of the Most Holy Rosary
THE ANNUNCIATION
Listen to this reflection told from the proposed perspective of our Blessed Mother and pray along with us the first declared of the Joyous Mysteries of the rosary
MUSIC: Hail Mary, Gentle Woman
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Deut. 31: 6
You'll Never Walk Alone"
There are times in our life when we face difficulties, aloneness and loneliness. We face the turbulences and storms of our daily life. Too often we think that we're the only ones who have experienced these moments. When we are going through them we certainly feel alone.
The truth is...we are never alone. God is with us and we must remember His unfailing love and presence.
For those of you who own a dog you will especially appreciate Shelby's talk today. She and her husband recently adopted one and discovered the amount of work that goes into it. And worth every minute of it. As is our spiritual journey, she reflects.
Scripture: 1 COR 15: 58
Music: Jeff Greinke, "Clouds Like Flying Saucers"
At the top of the list of why Jesus sacrificed his life for us is one word: Freedom. Satan's greatest feat is to convince us that we aren't good enough; to defeat us in our spirit. Lauren assures us our God never gives up overcoming that effort.
Scripture: Romans 12: 11
Music: Johannsson, "By the Roes, And by the Hinds of the Field"
