*Fun Fact: After the state meet, Vermont coaches host a Decathlon state meet with nearly 100 athletes for boys and girls. Both boys and girls do the DECATHLON!

*Fun Fact: While Utah athletes do get the opportunity to compete in the Javelin event at the state meet, they do not get the opportunity to compete in the Triple Jump!

*Fun Fact: Tennessee has three divisions each for public schools and private school separately. Three public school team's will earn a state championship title and three private schools will earn a state championship title!

*Fun Fact: South Dakota awards the top athlete in each event among their three classes a special 'Gold Medal of all Classes' award in lieu of a Meet of Champions!
