Business Rundown: Expert Tips for Thriving in Today's Competitive Job Market Nov 17, 2025
    Show notes

There is a lot of discussion about "affordability," especially regarding young Americans' ability to buy their first home.

A key step in achieving the American dream is getting a good job, but the path to that job has become harder, especially for Gen Z.

Economic growth is being driven by productivity and investment in artificial intelligence, rather than by hiring. This is creating what some call a "jobless boom" in some industries.

Translation: the job market is very competitive.

Suzy Welch, Professor of Management Practice at NYU’s Stern School of Business and author of the book, Becoming You, joins FOX Business' Lydia Hu to explain why it's not easy for job hunters right now and offer advice for young people and others on how best to stand out and navigate its challenges.

Extra: The Dangerous World Of 'Scambaiting' And Busting Internet Fraudsters Nov 16, 2025
    Show notes

One in three Americans faced a financial scam in 2024, according to a recent Bankrate survey. As technology advances, it is growing easier to fall victim to cyber scams.

And with the rise of AI technology and increasing involvement of organized crime organizations, the financial and emotional threat is only becoming more common and harmful.

However, some folks are fighting back.

‘Scambaiters’ make videos of themselves wasting scammers' time and exposing them and their methods -- sometimes, to law enforcement.

Ashton Bingham and Art Kulik have been doing it on their YouTube channel for ten years.

Ashton Bingham and Art Kulik joined FOX News Rundown host Chris Foster to discuss why they decided to target scammers and how they do it.

The hosts of FOX Nation’s Scammed: Getting Even explained how scammers operate, and why busting up their schemes can be a dangerous job.

We often have to cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview.

From Washington: Shutdown’s End Reopens Old Wounds Nov 16, 2025
    Show notes

The Democrats who voted to reopen the government earlier this week have stirred up turmoil within their party, with many on the left viewing it as a betrayal for failing to extend COVID era Affordable Care Act subsidies. Republicans, meanwhile, are up in arms over a last-minute inclusion to the funding package, which would allow senators who allegedly had their phones tapped to sue the federal government for hundreds of thousands of dollars. FOX News Digital Congressional Correspondent Liz Elkind joins the Rundown to unpack the drama on Capitol Hill, and what to look out for as the government gets back to business.

Later, Philip Diehl joins to discuss the future of the penny, after the mint officially ceased its production earlier this week.

Extra: A Most Unusual White House Meeting Nov 15, 2025
    Show notes

On Monday, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa became the first Syrian leader to visit the White House.

That alone would have been noteworthy ...

But Al-Sharaa, who assumed leadership of Syria after leading a rebel group that overthrew the Assad regime, was previously a militant in an al-Qaeda-linked group and was captured by American forces while fighting against the U.S. in Iraq in 2006.

However, the once anti-American extremist is now working with the Trump Administration on securing his country and the region.

Earlier this week, FOX News senior correspondent Benjamin Hall joined the Rundown's Dave Anthony to discuss Monday’s extraordinary White House meeting, President Ahmed al-Sharaa's "rough past" and his unusual journey to the Oval Office. Hall, who has covered Syria for more than a decade and has traveled there, discussed whether America should trust al-Sharaa and what a friendly relationship between Syria and the U.S. could mean for the region.

We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview.

Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with FOX News senior correspondent Benjamin Hall.

Later, Dr. Dorothy Fink, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health & Women's Health at the Department of Health and Human Services, joins to discuss what led to the FDA's decision to remove its longstanding boxed warning from hormone-based menopause drugs.

Business Rundown: The Shutdown Is Over, But Economic Uncertainty Remains Nov 14, 2025
    Show notes

While you would have thought investors would have rejoiced in the government reopening this week after forty-three days, the markets are still a little jittery about what's ahead in the coming months.

Due to the data desert over the last several weeks, it’s been hard to get a sense of where the job market is and if there is economic growth. All things that could impact the Federal Reserve’s move early next month.

There have been some bright spots, however, as earnings season has exceeded expectations and consumer spending remains stable.

But of course, there is still a risk of another partial shutdown in January, and so many questions about the rise of artificial intelligence,

Brian Jacobsen, the Chief Economist Strategist at Annex Wealth Management, joins FOX Business Taylor Riggs to discuss how investors may navigate the coming weeks, where he thinks the economy is, and where the surging artificial intelligence sector may be going.
