    Show notes

The US House Education & Workforce Committee is advancing bills to fight antisemitism in America’s schools. The three bills with bipartisan support aim to protect Jewish students and countering the spread of antisemitism across America’s education system. The bills would require colleges and universities to establish formal procedures for investigating antisemitism complaints, make those procedures public to the university community, and provide regular briefings to Congress on how they were handled.

FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Sydney Altfield, CEO of 'Teach Coalition', a nonpartisan group that fights to make Jewish day schools and yeshivas safer, stronger, and more affordable, who says this new legislation comes at a crucial time when there has been a sharp rise in antisemitism.

    Show notes

Fresh off America's historic 250th anniversary celebrations, the battle for the political future of New York and America's global alliances is heating up. Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) joins the Rundown to discuss the shifting landscape as progressive Democratic Socialist (DSA) candidates continue to win primaries and gain ground, while firing back at fellow politician New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani's holiday speech. Extra: What You Don’t Know About the Declaration of Independence Jul 04, 2026
    Show notes

    Happy Fourth of July!

Earlier this week, as the country prepared to mark America’s 250th anniversary, we wanted to take a deep dive into the document that all the celebration is about: The Declaration of Independence.

Adopted unanimously by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, the document announced that the Founding Fathers saw the Thirteen Colonies as sovereign states and were no longer subject to British colonial rule.

Since then, it has become one of the most influential documents in history.

However, there is so much you probably don’t know about it.

That’s why this week on the FOX News Rundown, we spoke with Ray Raphael, a historian and author of several books about our founding, including “A People's History of the American Revolution: How Common People Shaped the Fight for Independence.”

Raphael discusses the challenges and debates the Founders faced while drafting the document, as well as some unusual facts about that period and those who signed it.

We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear this conversation in full.

Today on the Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire conversation with Ray Raphael so you can learn even more about the Declaration of Independence and the significance of celebrating America 250.

Plus, Ronald Reagan Institute Senior Fellow Tevi Troy joins to discuss how the 1976 Bicentennial celebrations compare to today's festivities and explains how studying the views and debates of America's founders could help put our shifting dynamics of power and modern political divide into perspective.

A large population of America is aging and there are not enough healthcare workers to take care of them. America 250:  Small-Town Patriotism and the State of National Pride Jul 03, 2026
