God's Not Dead 3 Sep 09, 2018

Show notes

We round the corner wiht our look at the God's Not Dead trilogy (at this time, who knows how long they can keep this train running), with a movie that proves that you don't always have to save the best for last.

Double Down Aug 26, 2018

Show notes

Welcome to our first Patreon rewards guest. Owen joins us from Australia to discuss something that BARELY counts as a movie. We are introduced to the world of writer (?) producer (?), director (?), actor (?), caterer (?) Neil Breen and his first ever "movie," Double Down, in which the story makes no sense, the music is terrible, the acting is a joke, and the only thing that is 100% clear is that nothing and no one ever doubles down on anything.

Furious 7 Aug 19, 2018

Show notes

We continue on Jim's insane idea of introducing Clarkson to the Fast and Furious movies by watching them in reverse order. It's a needlessly complicated and, admittedly, terrible way to do it, but... it's kinda funny.

Film Thugs Recap Special Release: Furious 7 Aug 19, 2018

Show notes

We are testing out/introducing a new idea. We watch a movie, and then try and give a full recap in as little time as possible, while going into bizarre detail on insignificant things. Hopefully, it works.

Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond Jul 01, 2018

Show notes

What do you call something that goes beyond narcisistic? I mean... is there a term for unimaginably self absorbed?

Well, if there is... that term applies here.

God Is Dead... Not, Part 2 May 28, 2018

Show notes

Looks like the disclaimer from the last episode still applies, so...

We are back... this time, with a bit of a doozie. But, let's start with a disclaimer... this episode is not an attack on faith or religion. It is an attack on the persecution complex that has created the illusion of a "war" on religion, in particular, Christianity. The world of strawmen that is divided between the hyper-faithful armed with chapter and verse for every situation and mustache twirling athiests, just waiting to tear down everything faith stands for.

If you thought part 1 was some absolute nonsense... you ain't seen nothing yet.

God's is Dead... Not May 06, 2018

Show notes

That out of the way... this movie is an absolute disaster, but in a fun way. Check it out and listen to our rambling retort. It is well worth your time.

The Fate of The Furious Mar 11, 2018

Show notes

So, we have decided to ditch the strict genre format, so now we watch whatever we want to. This time... The Fate of The Furios.

Force Five Feb 11, 2018

Show notes

Sometimes you do something for a friend, and sometimes... that thing makes you question that friends sanity.

We present... Force Five.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (To Owen With Love) Jan 21, 2018

Show notes

So, looks like Bond finally broke us. This movie... man. We sincerely apologize for making people watch this one. It's not that it's bad, it's that it's baffling. This is one of those movies that kind of happens at you. Listen to find out how we really feel.

Also, this movie has caused us to pause our Bond marathon. It was a good run and we might pick up again at some point with a few of the movies, but right now, we just can't face the slog ahead of us. So... join us in a few weeks to find out what we are moving on to.
