Best of Tuesday 10/13: Steven Godfrey joins, previewing weekend CFB, Jonathan Taylor's effectiveness Oct 13, 2026
    Show notes

00:00 – 16:36 There will be many eyes on Indiana in the world of college football this weekend with Purdue playing on Friday and seeking their third consecutive Big Ten win, Ohio State vs IU in Bloomington, and Notre Dame vs BYU. Kevin revisits Curt Cignetti’s quote of how “Good teams find a way to win.” They discuss what this win could mean to the Hoosiers, but also what effects a loss could have. Cignetti spoke about Jeremiah Smith and called him a “Freak” and a “wild player.” Kevin faces a potential disaster this weekend, since he has to attend a wedding during Notre Dame’s game.

16:36 – 33:19 Steven Godfrey from Yahoo Sports joins to give Kevin advice on his wedding and Saturday Night Football situation. He also provides some insight on the matchup between IU and Ohio State. He also says that he wants some chaos and wouldn’t mind Big Ten success to disappoint SEC fans. He also talks the Notre Dame and BYU matchup. Steven also gives his take on Arch Manning and is the criticism around him is justified.

33:19 - 49:04 As we consider the problems that the Colts have dealt with this season, we need to give more attention to how Jonathan Taylor hasn’t been able to splash like he usually does. Part of it is due to Daniel Jones not producing on his end, so the run becomes more predictable and stoppable. The Titans aren’t relatively strong in any category, so a lopsided win shouldn’t be a reason to believe the Colts are back. More of attempting to find a way that Kevin can watch the Notre Dame game at the wedding.

Best Of Monday 10/12: Redzone struggles plagued the Colts loss, James Boyd explains the feel in the locker room Oct 12, 2026
    Show notes

00:00 – 15:47 Redzone struggles were the name of the game for the Colts as they couldn't get anything going on the run and couldn't put anything in the endzone. There were also problems with missed tackles throughout the game. Jaylen Warren couldn't be stopped from having a big game with a touchdown in the air (80-yards) and on the ground (50-yards). It's wild to accept that the Hoosiers have become the Chiefs-like team that will inevitably find their way to a win. They now face the possibility of being played out of the CFP depending on how the matchup goes with Ohio State. We also learn that Greg Rakestraw's TV debut in Indiana was for singing of all things.

15:47 – 42:48 Weather conditions were expected to be an issue going into yesterday's game against the Steelers but it ended up not being the case. Daniel Jones avoided turnovers, which has been one of the key conversations surrounding him. He was still not much of a factor in the loss. It has been a great season for Spencer Shrader considering he was fighting for a roster spot during training camp, but it does not fare well at all for the Colts as a whole. We look down the Colts schedule within the coming weeks and wonder if they'll matter. Greg Rakestraw breaks down his ultra-busy weekend and previews some high school football action. Morning Checkdown.

42:48 – 1:12:26 James Boyd joins and breaks down what he saw at Acrisure Stadium yesterday. He tells us about the tone in the locker room after the loss. He said that players are not properly holding themselves accountable. This team also has not had a notable win in the Shane Steichen era. In Bloomington, this obviously isn't the same team from last year but they have still been strong going into Saturday's game against Ohio State. Morning Checkdown.

Monday 10/10: Colts lose 34-22, continue losing streak in Pittsburgh Oct 12, 2026
    Show notes

00:00 – 15:01 The Colts lost 34-22 to the Steelers yesterday and continue their losing streak in Pittsburgh. Greg Rakestraw joins Kevin to guest host, as James is making his way back. Greg remarks that the Colts scoring six times in a game is amazing...except for when five of those scores come from your kicker. There was some great college football action on Saturday. Purdue even seems to have a pulse this season after pulling off a big win against Minnesota.

    15:01 - 28:35 Morning Checkdown

28:35 - 44:20 Redzone struggles were the name of the game for the Colts as they couldn't get anything going on the run and couldn't put anything in the endzone.

44:20 - 1:11:20 Weather conditions were expected to be an issue going into yesterday's game against the Steelers but it ended up not being the case.

1:11:20 - 1:17:45 Kevin gives his Outlaw Light Cheers to the Game to Tyler Warren. It's well deserved as he was gritty throughout the game and was the only touchdown scorer.

1:17:45 - 1:27:48 We give out our GOATs of the Week.

1:27:48 - 1:57:39 James Boyd joins and breaks down what he saw at Acrisure Stadium yesterday. He tells us about the tone in the locker room after the loss.
