Tuesday 12/26 - Recapping a Colts loss, talking to Rick Carlisle, and more! Dec 26, 2023

(0:00-17:03) Kevin and Andy recap the Colts rough loss to the Falcons on Sunday. Kevin gives his thoughts and Andy gives his thoughts on the game, and highlights some of the highs and lows of the game. They talk about playoff implications, and what they need to do to make it in. Andy voices his confusion for the team losing to the Falcons after having a four-game win streak. Kevin theorizes that the Colts may just be an average team that has thrived on an easier schedule.

(17:03-25:16) MORNING CHECKDOWN

(25:17-46:50) Kevin and Andy discuss the Michael Pittman situation, and what happened that prevented him from starting on Sunday. Kevin gives some insight on what occurred, and some previous examples of this happening. They talk about Pittman’s contract obligations, and what his relapse could mean for his season and his career. They also briefly talk about who may be nominated for MVP this season. Kevin laments the lack of defense against Atlanta, and how bad their tackling effort was.

(46:51-1:14:47) Andy and Kevin discuss the playoff picture, and who is in and who is out. Andy believes Jacksonville is a fraud and will not make it in the playoffs. Kevin talks about the regression of the offensive line. Kevin believes that without Pittman, the Colts need to use Jonathan Taylor more. We hear from Shane Steichen and Gardner Minshew on their thoughts on the game. Kevin and Andy take calls on Jonathan Taylor. Kevin talks about how the Raiders travelling to a different time zone should play to the Colts advantage.
