We honestly don’t know if YouTube is a good or bad place for new filmmakers, but we wanted to explore these ideas with Sven Pape. He has edited films that have been to Sundance and Cannes, but he is best known for his YouTube channel ThisGuyEdits. Sven is the rare content creator who has a foot both in the Youtube world and in the traditional film world. And so we wanted to have the conversation.
