The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast Ep. 127 Nov 20, 2020
    Show notes

We start Tuesday episode with a community spot light on Pauly's Project, a non profit org here in DTLA providing music and support to the homeless community. C-Minus brought us news of a recent issue with rapper Lil' Wayne at an airport where the plane was searched and multiple things were found from drugs to firearms. The Dr. wishes Weezy the best of luck as we all here hope the charges are dropped on The legendary Carter rapper. Being that he was caught up in Florida, they have a zero tolerance policy but E-Zone reminds us all that he has connections to our President so he has 63 days left to get some help. The "Duke of Earl" made its way into the convo as the podcast discussed throwing up. B-Real tells a story of playing Andy Garcia getting mad at him playing his bell on his drum set, where the Dr. compares it to the look he gave Eitan recently when he dropped a tray full of his weed. Important to mention that they have previously met a couple times so they were familiar with each other before the incident. Everlast, rapper of House Of Pain, introduce the two actually at a Laker game, but being that B-Real found him to not be as chill as most fans of his beloved him. Pineapple Express family Shawn came on into the podcast via the magic curtain, and catches up with the Dr. and crew about the delivery service they provide. Shawn also fills us in on the Hollywood and Vine location coming soon as well which is prime real estate. The icing on the location was that it was acquired with the Social Equity Program, which it went to the right people according to Shawn. Shawn also is a veteran of the marine corp, which recently celebrated its birthday. Salute to all our vets out there in the Insane Asylum. Shawn also brings Big Percy's new vodka along for the guys to check out which leads to B-Real talking about being a bartender previously, but only at his house parties. The Dr. was heavy handed with his pours he says but he would make some spectacular drinks. When they would go paint balling, B-Real would make a sangria for everyone to drink when they had matches. As the room got more hotboxed, the guys started to discuss more about Pineapple Inc, and the companies it umbrellas trademarks and expanding to Puerto Rico for the first time. Puerto Rico hasn't had legal marijuana before but with the hurricanes demolishing most of the island, the hopes are that the taxes from that can also help restore the island to the glory it deserves. Shawn who lived in Miami, had two other properties in the islands that got destroyed due to hurricanes but he shares some advice to make sure you pay your insurance. The podcast talks sky diving in P.R. and the guys give their takes that no one wants to skydive from the podcast besides B-Real who has bungee jumped before but never skydived. The Doors to the Insane Asylum open as the question started to come in and more Be sure to watch the full episode and leave a comment below! thank you Insane Asylum! join on discord. The Dr. immediately brings up the "Ahhhhh" refrence from E-Zone's interaction with wrestling legend The Godfather. E-Zone remembers imitating stone cold Steve Austin with chugging beer but with sodas. B-Real asks C-Minus about his vacation with family and the guys conspire about where in the world did C-Minus actually went. The podcast starts discussing UFO's and alien aircrafts possibly out there around them. Bobo brings up other movies about space like Last Star Fighter, where a guy was sucked into a video game world which E-Zone found similar to Wreck It Ralph. B-Real discusses going to other planets and the guys agree if the technology was there to get you there quickly they would be down to travel space. As we crept closer to the goal, as E-Zone said, the Insane Asylum was left "Stevie Wondering" what the prizes would be. Bobo discussed how he felt about deer being suicidal when driving through the mountain areas. The Dr. discusses that it's unfortunate about the animal, but that you should keep driving as safe as you can and don't slam on the breaks. C-Minus talks about driving and seeing a Raccoon and then Bobo says about a year ago he ran over a skunk accidentally and how horrible it smelled, as well skinny pablo. The Skunk was also an old school strain that was memorable speaking of skunks. Just like ice cream flavors, there cannot be too many flavors or strains of weed. The Greenthumb crew gets back into movies about aliens, like district 9 and independence day. CONGRATS TO TODAYS WINNER TK_OR_BETTER!!! Show notes

Tuesday here at B-Real TV kicks the Dr. Greenthumb show off with a special give away from the Dr. himself, prizes from INSANE CLOTHING, DR GREENTHUMBS, PHUNKY FEEL TIPS, THE SMOKEBOX GAME and GPEN. Steftone and the guys talk about being aggressive and avoid confrontations. E-Zone asks "what's the worst thing you had to endure too high". B-Real describes sitting in a music label meeting and it being the worse reality check being stuck for an hour. B-Real always seems to get a phone call right in the middle of a song when he is in the zone and when he is doing nothing he never seems to get the calls. The calls don't stop when the Dr. continues on with throwing Smoke Out Festival and getting calls for tickets from people he hasn't seen in years. B-Real ended up having a custom voice mail that would prank his friends thinking he answered but they would be sent to ticket master by the end of the recording. The podcast goes into the guys experiences partying when they were younger VS now. As the Insane Asylum piled up the likes early in the stream. Steftone was recently just on the Tinfoil Podcast, a conspiracy podcast by comedian Sam Tripoli, and as we all know here, it went deep into flat earth and more. "Snacktone" also goes into the tables favorite frozen foods such as tv diners, pizza rolls and more, just avoid burning your tongue. The ocean a very scary place to all of us, Steftone thinks swimming with Sharks that have already ate are save to swim with. E-Zone once held an alligator, Steftone in south Africa once had an interaction with two cheetahs. The doors opened after our giveaway to the Insane Asylum per usual, B-Real last night watched a documentary on The Olympus, a sister ship to the Titanic, could have saved most of the people. Mind blown by the fact, Steftone fills us in on the matrix alert of how the Titanic story isn't accurate. They asked who is the craziest stoner they have smoked with, B-Real looking like a jazz musician when he came back from Panama, a repeat of E-Zone Iconic scream from yesterday, shout outs to the highest podcast, a reminder of his song Wishful Thinking with Big Pun and a big birthday shout out. B-Real talks Hip Hop evolving around the world, more about his personal life, and more! Be sure to watch the full episode and leave a comment below! thank you Insane Asylum! join on discord. The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast Ep. 121 Nov 13, 2020
    Show notes

Monday kicks off with some Mezcal shots to celebrate The Godfather stopping by again to The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast. We survived the weekend that was full of dramatics of this 2020 election season, which begs the question is it over, or is it just beginning? With C-Minus out on vacation , the sports ball talk kicks off. Tom Brady catching L's according to B-Real and he discusses injuries and longevity for older players. New Technology and medicines are allowing people to extend their primes into their 30's. Frank Thomas is given the wave request by the Dr. himself to learn more about Eugenics. The guys talk baldness and hair lines following the Eugenics educational programing, discussing who can pull off the look, and who needs a hat. RnB singers got a pass for having amazing voices, E-Zone and Bobo bring up artist who had the luck with the ladies out their league. B-Real asks Bobo who he thought was king ugly and had the baddest chicks and he had to give it to Marilyn Manson. Apparently Bobo has had many items from drugs, underwear and even rocks thrown at him while performing with Greece flag upside down accidentally. The Dr. DARES! the Insane Asylum to get the stream to more likes and promises a live performance for the fans who step it up. It's stout season according to E-Zone, when the beer gets brewed it usually finishes up around this time of year for the best. The Godfather asks what everyone is doing for Thanksgiving or as B-Real calls it, thanks for nothing jokingly. The godfather gives us the run down of how to deep fry a turkey vs baking one. The Dr. prefers the roasted pig and E-Zone has always had turkey and is looking for something new this thanksgiving. E-Zone gives us dining advice to find somewhere to eat in LA and throw back another "Dr.'s stimulus plan" shots for another toast to the show. The guys talk which foods and meats they wouldn't eat and that they would. Bobo talks those fetus bird eggs he seen in eastern cultures. More shocking content the table each bring up crazy movies and videos they have been exposed to online and back in the day. The Godfather came in today with a lot of energy n expressed his disappointment that the ring hasn't been set up here at B-Real TV studio yet so here can throw E-Zone around. The Godfather shares stories with us about The Undertaker and what he's got going on back in his prime. Obviously The Godfather is a wrestling legend, but being such a big guy, nobody in his prime wanted it with the Smoke Train himself, he was a true big biker and the only Black biker around that no one would want to mess with or get knocked out no questions asked. Formally a football player and strip club security guard, B-Real said he didn't need Eugentics he was busting a "Nutgenics" and staying young. The Smoke train credits his wife of 20 years and kush as what made him a nicer more kind person in life. The Godfather challenges E-Zone to flip the Godfather on camera and Zone asks his dad nicely to get the ring so he can make legendary moments. The Doors to the Insane Asylum opened up to superchat questions as always! Eric Bobo drops a wild story about legendary artist Lauryn Hill being the stinkiest person they ever met, the guys get a shout out for praising DJ culture, The Dr. is asked about performing with RAGE, E-Zone declines the ranch shots, favorite 90's movies, Godfather cracks E-Zones back via a full nelson, wave down Sinbad to come on the show and more. be sure to watch the full episode and leave a comment below! thank you Insane Asylum! join on discord. The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast Ep. 120 | w/ Steftone & Eric Bobo Nov 13, 2020
    Show notes

Phunky Friday on the Dr. Greenthumb Podcast, the team toasts some Mezcal and catch Steftone up on the shenanigans this week he missed on. E-Zone compares his dads "DrMargaritas" to some he has had out and about while B-Real asks them if they can handle spicy drinks and food. Eric Bobo, Cypress Hill percussionist, lets us know that you don't want to eat something thats going to have your "butthole talking" and he avoids anything lactose so he doesn't have "immediate churro". Dr. Greenthumb breaks down what "Jungle Juice" is at a house party in southern California and how it makes everyone belly up in the streets throwing up. The guys talk taking their drinking to their limits getting the spins, watery mouth and the moments you realize that you are about to throw up. Steftone back in the house reminds the podcast, that they have been practicing recreational smoking long before it was recreational. B-Real talks his first time hanging out legendary "Rainbow bar" in hollywood and the many famous faces he would come across. Since the first time they hung out and smoked, it became an 8 year tradition to go weekly and smoke at which was dubbed "Lil Amsterdam". On Fridays, B-Real and many friends would play dominoes and smoke the finest of OG's. The whole venue was very respectful but there was a common don't mess around when it came for the love the Rainbow bar, as Steftone describes, "everyone from all genres of music and lifestyles would join together at this spot." They would come together to protect that spot no matter what, the history of The Rainbow Bar on the sunset strip. The food is amazing there as well, as C-Minus recommends the Chinese chicken salad and Eric Bobo with his band member B-Real agreeing that the Pizza is amazing. C-Minus discusses a time he was coming out the famous venue, The Roxy, where he smelled some good weed and sure enough he came across B-Real and friends where he joined the guys. Only one time the Dr. recalls having to put down the weed because they were smoking multiple "blimp" sized joints and a cop asked friend Dr.K to put two of the three massive sized joints out and allowed them to keep one going. This was a time before recreational and having a doctors recommendation to be able to smoke weed let alone publicly. E-Zone remembers Cannabis events and seshes where everyone would get together to find the bestsellers in the game out there with the best products. Free dabs and edible samples were a favorite but thats where the guys practiced the roll your own and use your own rig rules before the cover situation was even going on. The Dr himself would pretend to have a little sickness to avoid letting anyone smoke out of his bong. Not the most sanitary practice that most likely wont return, some companies were using one device to give hundreds if not thousands of people a dab out the same rig. Steftone and E-Zone talk about how other people just destroy bathrooms at these events, where they couldn't even use some restrooms at public events. The Dr. recommends that you "flush out your system before you get to the club" and Bobo reminds the Insane Asylum that you have to take an express dump in those situations. Bobo has never had no toilet paper in his stall but he has missed a flight while on the toilet as he heard his flight last call and was unable to stop the "task" at hand. The table talks about whats going on in 2020 and how essential weed is at keeping people good during the tough times. Eric Bobo asks what it would have been like to have no weed during these times as well especially early into quarantine. The Dr. reminds us all that were able to keep cannabis businesses open as an essential business respectfully. There was a time where you couldn't quietly enjoy weed places as C-Minus brings up when he and the rest of the guys were younger, being hard to hide the smell as B-Real says too. The podcast concurs that no one feels apologetic for how loud their weed is for they are making the world better by sharing the plant. Bobo asks B-Real if there is a song he has written sober and the Dr. fills us in on that "Stoned is the way of the walk" ironically was the song he was inspired while sober riding the bus. Interesting fact, It's the only rhyme he wrote sober and memorized with out having to write on paper. The beat was found that same day by random which was meant for a different artist and was swooped up and turned into the classic song, long verse no chorus. The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast Ep. 119 Nov 13, 2020
    Show notes

Thursday at the B-Real TV studios kicks back off with the guys still laughing at Donnell Rawlings roasting jokes and dethroned our resident roaster Rusty Shackleford. Everyone thought they got Magy, Donnell dog, a little bit too high. B-Real and the group all worried about if they hotbox the room a little too much and Bobo mentions he thought Donnell dropped his dog, and the Dr. mentions how his dog gets vengeful when he doesn't get his way and poops in the wrong places. Bobo had his dog chipped for it wouldn't get lost but considered taking it back out because of the hassle and costs, E-zone goes on about chip tracking they had for kids. C-Minus recalls an episode of the show Black Mirror that details parental controls and B-Real breakdown how parents look at these kinda of options, letting us know it is "not the business" The guys catch up on the "fxck show" that is this election and give their takes on whats going on with the vote counting and the publics reactions. The Dr. and the podcast bring up the Masked singer and break down which songs B-Real would cover if he participated. Yacht rock is a favorite genre round the table, E-Zone goes into his love for Michael McDonald and how he discovered his love for Patti Labell. B-Real and C-Minus explain and apologies for Tuesdays mix technical difficulties and how bringing your laptop charger is important. B-Real goes into details to what a bar count is for a DJ and how some DJs can't keep on beat, which Bobo can't vibe with. B-Real give out the homework assignment if you can count the bars of the verse properly to the Insane Asylum. Bobo also has found memories with B-Real having a few days that he was being jerk on tour where he was hard to be around as he tried to filter out bad people around him. With alot of animosity going on in the groups situation, they had record label and real life stress going on which they loved taking out in moshpits after sets. Bobo go back to a time where he was in Miami and his car got broken into and his camera was stolen, losing precious footage. Bobo also had the remorse the guys recall destroying dressing rooms for fun during their rockstar days including putting a sandwich in a VCR sticking out the tape slot. Sendog used to get lit on stage and go in on Eric Bobo equipment, with permission of course, but til he got that $9000 bill for percussion equipment. The fans loved that type of energy although but destroying your equipment can cost a lot, especially when Bobo lit his own equipment on fire. Once again, more hilarity continued as the doors to the Insane Asylum opened. The Dr goes over everything from moshpits at Lollapalooza from Sound Garden and the craziest one he has personally been in during a RAGE against the machine set he went from the stage to the pit. Cypress would cover "Jump Around" by legendary group and fellow homies House of Pain, where the crowd would crouch down and on the drop all know what to do and jump around like crazy. The DR. give anger management advice as well to the Insane Asylum, while C-Minus and E-Zone have fun telling them to cry and eat donuts. Everyone gives their take on their own catch phrases, to doing shows in stadiums with Jay-Z and KISS. Turns out Eric Bobo fell asleep on yesterdays podcast with Donnell do to eating too much food and smoking too much on the show, after Donnell had to wake him up during the podcast. be sure to watch the full episode and leave a comment below! thank you Insane Asylum! join on discord. The Dr. Greenthumb Podcast Ep. 118 | w/ Donnell Rawlings & Cali Blaise Nov 05, 2020
    Show notes

As we come back from a wild election day, we kick off the podcast with special guest and cannabis extractor Cali Blaise in the house! The guys kick the show off fresh with the Dr.'s special margaritas for the crew, the guys talk about dogs and the relationships they have with them. E-Zone talks about coming across a dog communicator or medium in the park. QUICKLY Eric Bobo brings up another story from the past where he gave a cat a micro dot of LSD one time. Though it was intentional, the cat started licking his hand when he wasn't paying attention and had a tab there. Eric Bobo describes the cat tripping out and then B-Real recalled that the cat in particular he remembered as a tough alley cat. C-Minus and E-Zone both agree that they think that cats are assholes when it comes to personalities and destructing things. Cali Blaise recalls a time he was attacked by cat and it was caught on a ring camera outside that he had to throw and it ended up breaking multiple things. When it comes to flavors, Cali Blaise brought both flowers and concentrates though for the guys to check out and gave us more info on processes of concentration. Best farmers in the world are in California, so when you work with the best in the world they are definitely here. With a product that comes with a promise that Cali Blaise will make sure you are satisfied with their extracts or get you right. The CRC process done right, Cali Blaise filters waters and refines the process to deliver the best product possible to their supporters. E-Zone and Blaise both got into the Simpson's and their fandom for their real life predictions, E-Zone claiming it as "Cartoon Illuminati". All agreed that South Park was really dope because like the Simpsons, no one ever aged. Blaise brought up later that most people thought that Cypress Hill in NYC, where he is from, was the origins of the group. B-Real describes how New York really did claim and show the Cypress group love as if they were from there. E-Zone reminded his dad, The Dr. himself, that there are many new states that just passed legalization. Blaise touched on how long that process and development it takes to get those measures in order and active. Oregon actually passed legislation that legalized many drugs in this recent election. Donnell Rawlings makes his way to the podcast after a short little break. Immediately the energy gets taken up with Donnell always being the bright energy in a room. With his new "bitch who don't talk back in tow" he has a new dog Many along with him. E-Zone said Donnell was out here naked jokingly and "Ashy Larry" hit E-Zone with that hold up, you are a little too calm tone as the two joked around again. Donnell proclaimed he doesn't speak "Bark" so him and his new dog Magy get along great because she is so small she take little M&M poops. Having an emotional support dog card is like having a medical card E-Zone got into and Donnell lets us know there are some weed guys you can get both from. Donnell lets the podcast know he recommends getting a lap dog if you want to meet new women, lately he has seen success in his own experiences. Donnell tells a story where he gets an upgraded on a Delta flight and the lady next to him has a Saint Bernard next to him on a flight that was uncomfortably close to him, which made him feel like a "white karen" because he complained after his flight for having to sit next to massive dog. B-Real brings up the smackfest videos they have been watching and Donnell remembers when Hot 97 had Smackfest back in the early 2000's and how far the actually matches went, later becoming an international phenomenon. Donnell Rawlings brings up his first gigs at "Comedy Connection" in Greenbelt Maryland. Donnell would heckle comedians, and quickly tells E-Zone he has "heckle-face" as more comedic jarring went down. Donnell talks about being a heckler at a comedy club then being challenged to go on stage and bombing his first attempt. He started roasting the audience and thats how he discovered his career birthed from a natural vibe of being the guy in the room people enjoyed laughing with. The guys all agree how roasting or capping or snapping on each other was their first days of interacting with comedy at young ages, but Donnell having a special ability to destroy his competition. There are two ways it goes he says, either they want to fight or drink after. Our condolences to David Lucas getting destroyed by Donnell on Kill Tony Live at the Comedy Store. You always gotta be ready for a defining moment in your career was the moral of the story and take the chances you need to. more hilarity continued, be sure to watch the full episode and leave a comment below! thank you Insane Asylum! join on discordDescription recap by @kieroglyphics on IG/Twitter Follow Donnell Rawlings , @Breal @Flavorsbyezone @CminusFan4 @Eric_Bobo
