The conversation also explores the origins of Disneyland’s holiday snowfall, Haunted Mansion Holiday, “it’s a small world” Holiday, Candlelight Processional, and Disney California Adventure’s early Christmas spectaculars. Jim closes with a look at how MagicBands, personalized Santa encounters, and the success of Frozen could shape future Disney holiday celebrations.

This first chapter follows Disneyland’s holiday evolution from its opening year through Walt Disney’s final Christmas season.
