Photobiomodulation is a novel way to manipulate the function of cells within the dermis and epidermis, to reduce inflammation while still accelerating regeneration. Phovia is a two-part system released by Vetoquinol in 2021. As pyoderma has become more and more difficult to control, it is essential that we investigate alternative methods to antibiotics. Phovia has also been shown to be helpful for the management of perianal fistulas (a painful, difficult disease!).
Learn about how Phovia works and the benefit of implementing its use in your practice.
