704 - Happy Valentine’s Day, Degrassi Kids! 💕 Today, we're joined by Alexandria Benoit, who played Sadie Rowland on Degrassi. Alexandria joined the cast during the pivotal “When Love Takes Over” Valentine’s Day episodes in Season 10. Right away, she became a love interest for Dave, who had best friends, Wesley and Connor, by his side to help him navigate the ups and downs of their relationship. But Sadie was so much more than that! A star on the basketball team, a lover of movies and music, and part of a fresh new class bringing exciting energy to the show - Sadie was a character we all saw potential in. Unfortunately, like many characters from her era, Sadie’s storyline ended far too soon and she left with no official ending. What ever happened to Sadie Rowland? What is Alexandria up to today? And what are her most heartfelt moments with her co-star, Jahmil French? If you love Degrassi, this podcast is for you. Edited by @eeveepacini!

Relive the magic of Degrassi Music Trivia Night hosted in December 2024! 🎵
We celebrated the release of Stephen's new album "The Orange Sessions" by GTA Rhythm Section with a TikTok Live stream!
Stephen Stohn (Executive Producer) describes the music on his new album as a dreamy, love song about his wife, Linda Schuyler, that resembles a Lizzo type feel. I can't wait to hear it. He also tells us the one thing he'd change about Degrassi, a lost script featuring Spinner/Emma's baby and what he's up to now.

Falen, an award-winning Indigneous playwright, grew up in the re-run era of Degrassi Junior High. In this interview, she shares why representation on TV can resonate with marginalized communities.
Stacey highlights media that's getting Indigenous representation right. She tells us why that representation has made such a personal impact.
Stevi shares what it was like to grow up without realizing they were Indigenous, how a racist joke led to them discovering their identity and what it was like growing up with a white-passing sibling who had a much different experience than them.
