Episode Fifteen - Trace Beaulieu, Part I Jun 01, 2016
    Show notes

In a very special Medieval fantasy episode, Erica, Ryan and Greg interview Dr. Forrester himself, Trace Beaulieu (that’s “Bowl-You,” folks!) Trace discusses his new T.V. comedy, “RenFest,” set behind-the-scenes at a Renaissance festival and billed as “The Office” meets “Game of Thrones.” Trace talks about the “RenFest” Kickstarter campaign, Vengeful Nerds, and what makes for quintessential “Minnesota-ishness.” In “The Feedback Loop,” Ryan and Blake examine Nuka Cola and what MST3K means to various fans. In the segment, “Cheesy Movies We’d Like to See Riffed,” Greg goes all “brillig, and the slithy toves” and tackles Terry Gilliam’s 1977 fantasy spoof, “Jabberwocky.” In honor of Memorial Day weekend, the Podcast Gang celebrates their homeland by quaffing Americana Root Beer by Orca Beverage Company in the “Mini Soda Review.” And in, “Reviewers in the MSTie,” James considers “Pod People.” The verdict: It stinks! (This podcast does not represent Alternaversal, Shout Factory or the Kickstarter campaign in any official capacity). EDITOR’S NOTE: In June 2019, this podcast merged with the Damn Dirty Geeks Podcast and became The Damn Dirty Drive-in. These are our classic back catalog episodes, dating back to March 2016. Please enjoy! The new Drive-In podcast opens for business with original sketches, movie discussions, interviews, weird food tastings and more at Episode 168.

How has it affected your personal lives?” In the segment, “Cheesy Movies We’d Like to See Riffed,” Greg, Ryan and Blake tackle the unwatchable British sexploitation comedy, “Sex Lives of the Potato Men.” And in the “Mini Soda Review,” the Podcast Gang tastes Orca Beverage Company’s Goody Blue Pop, a nostalgic blue raspberry and cream beverage. Greg is odd man out in loathing this sugary-sweet concoction. And in “Reviewers in the MSTie,” James tackles “Warrior of the Lost World.” Again. Episode Ten - Rick Sloane Apr 27, 2016
    Show notes

Hosts Ryan and Blake sit down with guerilla director and master of the Hollywood low-budget movie, Rick Sloane, best known in “Mystery Science Theater 3000” circles for his 1988 horror flick, “Hobgoblins.” The Podcast Gang reads viewer mail in “The Feedback Loop,” and tries to decide how to best rank the strange and wonderful (and occasionally terrible) sodas they taste each week. (This podcast does not represent Alternaversal, Shout Factory or the Kickstarter campaign in any official capacity). With the wrap up of the highly successful Rifftrax Kickstarter, the Podcast Gang discusses its participation in June’s MST3K Reunion. And in their “Mini Soda Review,” Blake Sanchez, Ryan and Greg taste a delicious little slice of the tropics with Hawaiian Sun Liliko’i Passion Fruit. But with Ryan’s dissenting opinion, will there be Trouble In Paradise? In the “Reviewers in the MSTie” segment, James flies high with the low budget 1980s sci-fi movie, “Time Chasers.” (This podcast does not represent Alternaversal, Shout Factory or the Kickstarter campaign in any official capacity).
