    Profiling Israel Keyes - Part 3 May 25, 2022

    Israel Keyes was a highly mobile serial killer who murdered Bill and Lorraine Currier in June 2011 and Samantha Koenig in February 2012. Keyes is also suspected of murdering several other people. He died by suicide in December 2012.     Profiling Israel Keyes - Part 2 Apr 23, 2022

    On February 2, 2012, 18-year-old Samantha Koenig was reported missing from her place of employment, a coffee stand in Anchorage, Alaska. Security camera footage obtained by investigators showed she was abducted the night before as she prepared for closing. Several weeks later, after Israel Keyes was arrested for Samantha’s murder, investigators learned of his connection to the disappearance of Lorraine and William Currier in June 2011. There were indications they were abducted, but the answers as to what happened did not come until almost a year later when serial killer Israel Keyes was arrested for another murder in Anchorage, Alaska.     The Murder of Marie Warren – An Unusual Level of Callousness Jan 31, 2022

    On Sunday morning, October 1, 2006, Marie Warren’s grandson called the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office to report his grandmother missing. Shortly thereafter, just as investigators were securing the crime scene, Ms. Warren’s body was found approximately five miles from her home. She had died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, and there were indications of post mortem mutilation. What was the offender’s motive? Why was the body removed from the scene? Was the offender someone close to the victim or was this a random act of violence?     The Murder of Jane Gilboy Jan 09, 2022

    On Monday, July 18, 1988, Jane Gilboy was found murdered in her home in Franklin, Massachusetts. She was brutally beaten and her throat was cut just as she arrived home from work at 4:15 p.m. Jane’s murder remains unsolved.     The Twilight Rapist - Part 2 Dec 12, 2021

    In 2009, a serial rapist struck in several small towns in Texas. He was dubbed the Twilight Rapist because his attacks occurred in the early morning hours. This offender became one of the most wanted men in Texas, and a task force was created by the Governor to catch him.     Known as the East Area Rapist, Original Night Stalker, and Golden State Killer, Joseph James DeAngelo terrorized California from 1974 – 1986. He was infamous for breaking into homes, ransacking them, and sexually assaulting female victims when their male companions were also home. In 2011, FBI agents Julia Cowley and Bob Drew of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, were called in to work on the case and profile DeAngelo who was at the time, still unknown. In the first few episodes of The Consult, Julia and Bob discuss DeAngelo’s crimes, his personality traits and characteristics, and the profile they gave to investigators.
