Road Trip (2000) Jan 24, 2024

Show notes

Are you here for the feeding? Join us as we review one of the most-quoted and highest-grossing movies of the new millennium. Is it still as funny as we remember it? Did this movie come up with the “it’s not cheating if it’s a different area code” rule? Is E.L. just Stiffler after he graduated high school and went to college? Is this yet another example of a story that doesn’t happen if cell phones were around? Whether or not you loved Tom Green and/or had a huge crush on Amy Smart, you are going to want to listen to this episode.

Empire Records (1995) Jan 10, 2024

Show notes

Today isn’t Rex Manning Day- It’s Empire Records Day. Just like the cast of this movie hates on Rex Manning for being a washed-up, has-been, we air some grievances against this nearly 30-year old movie. When you wipe the nostalgia away, is this just a movie with a nonsensical plot, a bad script and a terrible soundtrack? Or is it one of the best “24-hour hangout” movies of the 90s? Join us and find out!

RoboCop (1987) Dec 27, 2023

Show notes

RoboCop captured the hearts and imaginations of people around the world in 1987 but 35 years later, it can’t possibly still hold up, right? There’s no way that the special effects could still be good, right? The gruesome violence probably isn’t as bad as we thought it was as kids, right? We probably hate Bob Morton the most out of any of the bad guys, right? This might go a little different that we thought! Enjoy!
