Hurricane Season 2024: Were the predictions wrong again? Aug 23, 2024

Show notes

NOAA and other forecasters predicted the 2024 hurricane season would be among the most active in decades. Professional climate alarmist Michael Mann said human-caused global warming would prime the Atlantic Ocean to produce 33 named storms and several major hurricanes to lash the United States. The media, of course, jumped on that to sell gloom and doom to America. You might have noticed none of that has come to pass.

The Climate Realism Show #124 will bring in Stanley Goldenberg, one of the country’s top hurricane forecasters to explain what’s going on. We will also cover the Crazy Climate News of the Week, including a luxury yacht sinking in the Mediterranean blamed on climate change, record cold temperatures in August, and Utah fighting land grabs by the federal government.

We're NOT at a Climate Tipping Point – The Climate Realism Show #123 Aug 16, 2024

Show notes

The New York Times on Sunday published a special section titled “How Close Are the Planet’s Climate Tipping Points?” The article is heavy on fancy infographics and short on actual references or facts about how many of the Earth’s natural features may be “in danger of collapse.” We will break it down and debunk the Times’ misinformation about coral reefs, the Greenland ice sheet, climate change causing loss of the Amazon Rainforest, and more.

On Episode 123 of The Climate Realism Show, we welcome back two special guests – CFACT’s Chris Martz and Steve Milloy of JunkScience.com – two of the best on X/Twitter at pushing back at climate alarmist nonsense. We will also cover some of the Crazy Climate News of the week, and a new report by the American Energy Institute report showing how the Climate Justice Project is corrupting the courts.

The Real Costs of Sustainable Aviation Fuel Aug 12, 2024

Show notes

Heartland's H. Sterling Burnett was recently a guest on the Jeanne Ives Podcast. They discussed the recent announcement by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, who touted another "win" as United Airlines committed to purchasing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for O'Hare International Airport, using state tax credits.

Burnett questioned the environmental and economic validity of SAF, labeling it a "hoax" and expressing concerns about the true cost and impact of green energy initiatives. The conversation highlighted the ongoing debate over the effectiveness and sustainability of green energy solutions, particularly in the aviation sector.

The Great British Energy Company – The Climate Realism Show #122 Aug 09, 2024

Show notes

The new Labour government in the UK wants to set up the “Great British Energy Company,” supposedly the answer to all of that country’s green energy dreams. But Heartland friend Lois Perry of CAR26 in the UK says it will be a nightmare – especially when you add that “publicly owned” renewable energy project to a reduction in fossil fuel extraction and the millions the UK has pledged to pay in “climate reparations.” On Episode 122 of The Climate Realism Show, we will also cover the Crazy Climate News of the week, whether vanilla is “disappearing,” surprising news about the ice in Greenland, the Washington Post admitting the Urban Heat Island effect is real (but somehow still screwing it up), the ongoing wind turbine disaster off Massachusetts, and more.

Debunking Climate Myths Aug 08, 2024

Show notes

Heartland's H. Sterling Burnett was a guest on the Point of View Podcast. They discussed the accuracy of temperature measurements and the role of urban heat islands, the historical context of climate cycles, and the impact of human activity on global warming. Burnett also challenges predictions about climate disasters and highlights the benefits of increased CO2 levels for plant growth.

'Green' Olympics Make Athletes See Red – The Climate Realism Show #121 Aug 02, 2024

Show notes

The Paris Olympics are underway, and it pledged to be the “greenest” games ever. No air-conditioned dorms. Bed frames made of recycled cardboard. An emphasis on plant-based protein instead of meats and eggs. Well, those moves are going over with the athletes about as well as its opening ceremonies did with normal people. This is yet another case of climate virtue signaling crashing into reality. South Korean swimming stars decided to ditch the Olympic Village and check into the nice, air-conditioned hotels that the organizers enjoy.

Kamala Harris Is Even More Radical on Climate than Joe Biden Jul 26, 2024

Show notes

With Joe Biden handing off the presidency to "a new generation" in Kamala Harris, her record and public statements shows she is even more radical on environment and energy policies than her old boss. For instance, Harris thoroughly endorsed every bit of the radical “Green New Deal,” she pledged to ban all fracking in the United States, she has fully embraced the “Net Zero by 2030” agenda, and has called for changing the American diet by restricting (or even banning) the production of beef.

On Episode #120 of The Climate Realism Show, we will cover this troubling record, examine the claim that Europe just recorded its hottest day ever, worry about our future arrest as “climate criminals,” revisit the ongoing environmental disaster off Nantucket due to a single broken wind turbine, and more “Crazy Climate News of the Week.

DEI Is Destroying Education, Sports, Military, and Our Way of Life Jul 24, 2024

Show notes

Climate change is a topic the Globalists have chosen to exploit. By teaching junk science brought to us by computer models, these liars have our population believing that if we just stop using fossil fuels, we will alter the climate. The rules and oppressive regulations they intend to impose are put in place for control and do nothing to alter anything except our wallets. Join H. Sterling Burnett as we discuss DEI, the climate hoax leading to climate lawfare.

Climate Policy at the GOP Convention: What a Second Trump Term Could Look Like Jul 19, 2024

Show notes

As the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee comes to a close, we look at the climate and energy platform of the party. Do they differ from Trump’s first-term agenda? What is the stance of VP candidate J.D. Vance on the topic considering Trump has tapped Vance to carry his MAGA agenda forward? To talk about all this – plus the Crazy Climate News of the Week – we have as our guest Steve Milloy of JunkScience.com who was a member of the EPA Transition Team for the first Trump presidency. What of that agenda was implemented? What wasn’t and why? And if Trump is elected again, will he take a more-aggressive approach? And does the reversal of the Chevron Doctrine that gave agencies like the EPA enormous unchecked power factor in here at all?

Climate Lawfare Heats Up Jul 12, 2024

Show notes

The weather is heating up, and so is the "climate lawfare" radicals are using to impose draconian policies that would impoverish the masses, and even put some people in jail.
