Show notes
Roll a D6 to determine what the episode description will be:
1) This week we planned to talk about luck in video games… but our offices caught on fire, and in the ensuing chaos we got tangled in our headphone cables and burned to death. What follows is three hours of screaming. Enjoy the show!
2) This week we talk about how games are blessed with the luck of the Irish. In an extended and recurring bit conflating gamers and the Irish, Josh makes up what he thinks is a new term to describe these Irish gamers. It turns out that word is actually a slur in eight different languages. What follows is two hours and fifty seven minutes of bleeped audio. Can you find the un-bleeped three minutes? Enjoy the show!
3) This week we talk about luck in video games, but you’ve heard all this before written inside Bazooka wrappers and bathroom stalls. Enjoy the show!
4-5) This week we talk about luck in games. What are our favorite uses of it? How is it commonly misused? We discuss all this as well as chatting about the games we’ve played this week: Elden Ring and Triangle Strategy. Enjoy the show!
6) This week, In an attempt to get a little time off, all three hosts simultaneously decide to set up chat bots to respond whenever there’s a lull in the conversation (along with an unconvincing looped video… hoping the other two won’t notice) Since no one was actually there to catch them on it, they each enjoyed a nice meal and a nap. Meanwhile, back on skype, (with no actual humans to ruin the show) the three bots record the best episode of the Chompcast to date. Enjoy the show!
