    Show notes

In January alone, 90,000 Americans lost their lives to COVID-19. Stopping the spread of the deadly virus means getting people vaccinated. The CDC says it's shipped 50 million doses, but only 31 million shots have been given. Long lines, sign-up errors, and low supplies are all contributing to the problem, but a third option could be available soon. Johnson & Johnson is expected to apply for emergency use authorization for its vaccine within days. Health correspondent Lorie Johnson is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown with details about the new vaccine.

A bi-partisan commission is being created to study what reform is possible and the idea of court expansion will likely top the list. CBN News Washington correspondent Paul Strand has been covering this story and he says historically speaking that didn't go so well for the last administration that tried it. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

The Southern Border Jan 27, 2021

As of today, all construction on the wall at the US southern border must stop--the Biden administration--working to reverse much of former President Trump's immigration policy. Now, migrants are flooding into Mexico, hopeful they'll have an easier time making it into the US. CBN News contributor Chuck Holton is just outside of El Paso, Texas. He's been speaking with migrants, border patrol agents, and even Mexican immigration officials and says the situation there is changing rapidly. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

Prominent Journalists Advocate 'Reprogramming' Trump Supporters Jan 25, 2021
    Show notes

Several prominent media personalities and reporters have echoed a similar refrain: those who supported President Trump should receive a 'reprogramming' of some kind. Coupled with a recent sweeping deplatforming of President Trump from social media as well as business partnerships, there's a disturbing trend of celebrating the shunning, ostracizing and punishing of those who share different political beliefs. CBN Senior International Correspondent Gary Lane has more on the consequences we could see due to this line of thinking.

He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

She's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.
