Voices of Black Mothers Mar 29, 2021
    Show notes

The trial for the former police officer charged in the death of George Floyd begins today. His death led to nationwide calls for police reform, accountability, and even demands to "defund the police." One emerging group made up of thousands of black mothers says getting rid of the police is not the answer for their communities. They call themselves Voices of Black Mothers United. They've all lost children to violence. Now they say they want to partner with police departments so that they can help make a real difference and build a relationship between the police and the community. CBN News White House correspondent Eric Philips recently spoke with the group's organizers. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

Biden Meets the Press Mar 26, 2021
    Show notes

President Biden held his first press conference yesterday, and if you ask the White House press corps, it was long overdue. In fact, it came longer into an Oval Office term than any other president in modern history. Chief political analyst David Brody says it's clear the press is holding President Biden to a different standard than it did former President Trump. He weighs in on Biden's performance on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

    'Disinformation Nation' Mar 25, 2021
    Show notes

Congressional Democrats say Big Tech isn't going far enough in its efforts to censor "misinformation" coming from those deemed extremists. But many of the voices being shut down are Christians and conservatives who say their values and opinions just don't line up with the liberal narrative. LifeSiteNews was recently targeted by Big Tech. Now, they're warning you could be next. Senior Washington correspondent Paul Strand has been covering this story. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

The Darien Gap Mar 24, 2021
    Show notes

The White House is working on finding a solution for the crisis at the border. Meanwhile, the number of immigrants crossing into the US is on pace for the highest level in 20 years. CBN News contributor Chuck Holton recently returned from the Darien Gap, the most dangerous part of the route that many migrants are taking to get here. He witnessed first-hand the conditions these people endure and, at one point, found himself surrounded by a group of drug smugglers who were infiltrating the migrant caravan. Holton is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

    'Kingmaker' Mar 23, 2021
    Show notes

President Trump's communication with his supporters and critics alike has been largely non-existent since he left office, due to a Big Tech shut-down across all social media platforms. But the former president says he'll be making a big comeback soon with a brand new platform. In the meantime, Trump is focused on making endorsements for 2022, setting himself up to be a "Kingmaker" of sorts. Chief political analyst David Brody is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown to talk about what Trump's been working on over the last several months and to weigh in on a political battle that's been brewing in the nation's capital.

    A 'Grace-less' Society Mar 22, 2021
    Show notes

A Canadian father was arrested last week for violating a court order that banned him from speaking out about his daughter's gender transition. While that incident didn't take place here in the US, it mirrors what's going on here. Speech and behavior that is found offensive are being silenced, debate over controversial subjects: shutdown. Society no longer has room for grace. Dan Andros of Faithwire.com has been covering many of these stories. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

Atlanta Spa Shooting Mar 19, 2021
    Show notes

Atlanta authorities continue to piece together what happened in Tuesday's mass shooting that left six Asian women dead. The suspects' church is speaking out and condemning the attack. It's unclear if it will be considered a hate crime, but it has raised the issue of violence targeted against Asian Americans. Reporter Heather Sells is following the investigation and she's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

Big Tech's Digital Surveillance Plan Mar 18, 2021
    Show notes

Big Tech is pursuing a new form of digital surveillance that could have dangerous consequences. Microsoft is establishing a coalition whose purpose is to stop the spread of "disinformation." But who defines disinformation? Critics warn this gives Big Tech the power to censor, suppress, and ultimately erase any information that challenges the "establishment narrative." Senior international correspondent Dale Hurd has been looking into this story. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

Trump to Followers: 'It's a Great Vaccine' Mar 17, 2021
    Show notes

Nearly one-in-five American adults have now received at least one COVID-19 vaccination. Steps are now being taken to expand vaccinations to the younger generation. Meanwhile, President Trump has urged his followers to get vaccinated and religious leaders are leading by example as they encourage the faith community to get their shots. Health correspondent Lorie Johnson is on today's CBN News Daily Rundown with details about the newest vaccine trials and the latest in the effort to vaccinate America.

Israeli Elections: Round Four Mar 16, 2021
    Show notes

For the fourth time in less than two years, Israelis are getting ready to head to the polls. The election is a week from today and the big question is, will Benjamin Netanyahu remain the prime minister? Israel has 39 political parties and that makes forming a governing coalition pretty complicated. CBN News senior editor John Waage says this election could have a profound impact on Israel, and the entire Middle East. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.
