I learned SO MUCH from my Ugandan friends over the last 2 weeks.
I learned that THEY are really good at knowing what THEY need.
I learned that asking what they need is more important than telling them what they need.
I learned that serving them as a Christian IS NOT the same thing as colonizing their land as a Christian.
I learned tons about the history of Christianity and its African roots.
I learned that Ugandans don’t need Americans to “rescue” them.
I learned that it’s important to have these conversations…
So in today’s episode, I spend some time unpacking these thoughts the first 1/2 of the show, and then the second 1/2 I interview the producer of the new documentary “Unspoken” - An in-depth look into the Christian heritage of Africa and people of African descent, intended to dispel the notion of Christianity being an exclusively white man’s religion.
It is SUCH A GOOD DOCUMENTARY.

Lisa is one of the world’s most sought-after Christian apologists, combining her passion for biblical literacy with her heart for sharing God’s love with all those she meets.
This is one of those episodes that you will come back to over and over again…
Hopefully, this is helpful!
