Hopefully, Victims of Racism safely navigated the July 4th "holiday" and made it back to the plantation safely. With widespread reports of mass shootings during "holiday" gatherings, perhaps we would have been safer if we'd just stayed at work? There were a number of reports on challenges in the nursing field. They updated the "fake nursing" scandal, detailing how numerous non-white nurses in Pennsylvania were terminated, shamed and/or forced to earn their credentials for a second time . There was also a comprehensive report detailing the White Supremacy/Racism that nurses endure from White patients and fellow medical staff. This Racist abuse is contributing to the health care worker shortage in the US. We also discuss the deadly New Jersey blaze on a cargo container that killed two firefighters. New York City's ABC7 News reports the "victims were identified as Augusto "Augie" Acabou, 45, and Wayne "Bears" Brooks Jr., 49." The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 10th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we inch towards the conclusion of Cullen's work. We learned about the police failures and outright lies that enabled this cowardly White tandem. Cullen minimizes the corruption of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office and omits much of the evidence of these White boys's Racism - such as reports of their Racist Jokes and they're routine public commentary about killing black people and "Jews." He also omits their fascination with Racist serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson. Last week, Cullen told us sweet Dylan didn't really want to kill anyone. Cullen would have us believe "VoDKa" dry snitched to his teacher by writing one of the most violent reports possible - something both these two did frequently. He also submits Dylan was not a part of the bomb-making and weapons assembly. This is contradicted by footage of Klebold and Harris practicing at the gun range. Neither looked reluctant to shoot. It's also more difficult to think Dylan was disinterested in bloodshed since he's accused of calling Isaiah Shoels Racist Names and dragging him out to be killed. Just after Juneteenth and days from July 4th, Gus T. saw numerous reports about a growing number of workplaces that permit or encourage drug use. Cannabis, alcohol, mushrooms and other narcotics can be freely enjoyed from the cubicle or computer terminal. I swear not that long ago, more than a few non-white workers were denied employment on account of narcotics arrests or a failed drug test. Now you can light one up with your boss. We'll also hear about the dangers of extreme heat for non-white people who work outside. Eugene Gates Jr. worked for the USPS for 35 years until he died on his route earlier this month. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 9th study session on Dave Cullen's COLUMBINE. On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people and injured 24 more at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. This week, we continue our exploration of Cullen's narrative of the events leading up to the massacre, the motivations of the White killers, and the aftermath of the slaughter. The teen duo apparently had contact with enforcement officers well in advance of the shooting. In addition to factual errors, like Eric Harris's supposed tryst with twenty-something Brenda Parker, Cullen omits much of the evidence of these White boys's Racism - such as reports of their Racist Jokes and routine public commentary about killing black people and "Jews." He also omits their fascination with Racist serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer and Charles Manson. Last week, Cullen told us Dylan was depressed and slacking hard during his final year of high school leading up to the massacre. It's as though we are supposed to forget Vodka is the one accepted to college. Eric had no post graduation plans. Cullen compares the two White teens to other terrorist actors of the decade like Timothy McVeigh and the Palestinian Liberation Army. This ignores other White bombers like Ted Kaczynski and Eric Rudolph who were actively killing people during the same period. The Columbine duo used similar terrorist techniques to Rudolph - secondary explosives to potentially kill first responding police and medical personnel. A historian and a Research Associate with the McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Michael worked for government agencies for over 25 years. His professional focus is demographics largely dealing with US Census data. Earlier this year, Gus shared a report about John J. Audubon digging up non-white corpses to share skulls with his buddy Samuel George Morton. Mr. Michael has done extensive research on Morton’s Racist craniology work - which posits that black people are dumb and have tiny skulls and brains. Apparently, Morton had homies around the globe ship him skulls to bolster his Racist views. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Jeffrey Haas. A long time attorney for the People's Law Office in Illinois, Haas represented Fred Hampton and member's of Chicago's chapter of the Black Panther Party. Haas talked with Hampton and heard him speak against Racism on a regular basis. Hampton had such an impact that Haas remained dedicated to fighting to expose the government-led, White Supremacist conspiracy to assassinate the young chairman. He compiled the years of deceptions and courtroom battles in his 2010 book, The Assassination of Fed Hampton: How the FBI and the Chicago Police Murdered a Black Panther. We'll discuss the role of FBI informant William O'Neal, a black male recruited to spy on black people when he was 19-years-old. O'Neal is accused of drugging Hampton the December night in 1969 when the Panther leader was killed in his sleep. He admitted to providing a detailed floor-plan of the premises. Haas describes O'Neal as a "moral eunuch." We'll discuss the years of lies to conceal this unjust murder and how Fred Hampton's assassination relates to other incidents of Chicago history, like the murder of Emmett Till and the Torture of black males by former Police chief Jon Burge. We'll be sure to ask for Mr. Haas's views on the film Judas & The Black Messiah as well as his upbringing in Racist Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Haas got riled when Gus referred to his longtime White comrade and former C.O.W.S. guest Bill Ayers as a criminal. Ayers, as a part of The Weathermen, was complicit in the bombing of the Pentagon and the US Capitol building. Before we got captivated by the deep waters of the Atlantic, a number of holiday weekend festivities ended with violent conflict and gunfire. Neely Fuller Jr. discourages attending parties as part of a counter-racist code. It seems we may have lost the ability to shindig without killing or stabbing another Victims of Racism. In the US, a report showed math and reading scores dropped to their lowest level in decades. The Covid-19 pandemic was a catastrophic contributor to this academic crater. But the System of White Supremacy is most to blame for this academic failure. The academic decline of non-white students was highlighted in this report.
