France Winddance Twine visits The Context of White Supremacy. A professor sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Twine's research interests include critical race theory,feminist theories, and comparative racial studies. She investigated how Racism operates in the United States, Brazil and other spots on the globe. We'll discuss her 2011 publication, A White side of Black Britain: Interracial Intimacy and Racial Literacy. Twine investigates White Women who have had children with black British males - many of them with African Caribbean connections. Twine suggests that these White Women become more informed (racially literate) as a result of these "interracial unions". However, the book offers no evidence that these White Women divest from White Supremacy and dedicate themselves to supporting and defending black people and justice. In fact, Gus submits that this text offers an inaccurate presentation of White people, Racism. Admitted Racist, Dr. Barbara Trepagnier visits The Context of White Supremacy. We'll discuss her most interesting publication, Silent Racism: How Well-Meaning White People Perpetuate The Racial Divide. A codified interpretation of a profound portion of her book: The existence of the "not racist" category produces in the mind of the [non-white person] the illusion that [there are White people who] bear no responsibility for [The System of White Supremacy]. Yet, [White Supremacy] cannot be isolated from the [White Supremacist] practice and everyday [White Supremacy] of White people who produce indirect [Systemic White Supremacy] daily, regardless of their recognition of it or their intention to do so. in this way, the illusion that most White people are "not racist" virtually ensures the perpetuation of [the System of White Supremacy]. Although [Refined White Supremacy] by definition is not spoken aloud, it would be a mistake to assume that it is of little importance or that the behavior following from it is not [White Supremacist]. Passivity by White people is also important in maintaining the [System of White Supremacy], allowing it to operate without interruption, but also encourages it. Justice and Gus will share their views on the long running White Supremacist film franchise - ROCKY. White Jesus sanctions violence against black males REPEATEDLY in this film series. A black male is referenced as an APE. A different black male is referenced as a "JIG COON." This film series was born just at the close of the Civil Rights era and during a time when Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier and a myriad of legendary black prize fighters dominated the heavyweight ranks. Many interpreted Sylvester Stallone's triumphant character in this film as White Supremacists' dreams of White Manhood resurrected in prize fighting. Gus will dissect why this film remains a centerpiece of White Culture for more than a quarter century. It snared 3 Academy Awards in 1977 and is enshrined in the Library of Congress. In fact, the statue of Rocky hung out in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum for years. Frazier is a real life Philly native. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Padrica Norfleet as a guest on our program. The founder of NaturalistaCosmetics, a resources for black females to find hair, skin and beauty products free from the poisons that are crammed into most "beauty" products - especially substances marketed to black females. Ms. Norfleet's website was overrun by Race Soldiers who apparently felt threatened by black females marketing organic hair products while refraining from mutilating [straightening] black hair. Ms. Norfleet's Facebook page was mercilessly terrorized with videos of burning crosses and grotesque racist taunts. One post stated coldly: "You [black women] deserve to be raped by white men." Gus thought this was significant because of the long history of RacistMen raping black females. Gus T. Renegade will offer follow up thoughts on the idea of Victims of White Supremacy assisting White People. The great Neely Fuller Jr. shared his view that Universal Woman and Universal Man should help anyone who needs aid. This help should extend to White people, Suspected Racists. All of this is a part of the process of Producing Justice. Gus T. and listeners thought about this suggestion - as Fuller encourages Victims of White Supremacy to do some thinking. Dr. Kamau Kambon and Ms. Zanele offered their views on this topic. Both were staunchly opposed to doing anything to help aid Racist Woman and Racist Man. Non-white people are often forced and/or coerced into aiding Racists in a variety of ways. And White people have deliberately conditioned us to empathize with and comfort White people at all times. Gus thinks correct thinking on the path to Justice would channel help to those most maligned by the System of Racism. Under that System, there is no situation where a person classified as White needs the most help. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Jallow Momodo live from Sweden. Chairman of the National Afro-Swedish Association, Momodo is employed at Malmö University in Sweden. Unfortunately, reported a gang of Racist students for conducting a "jungle" party where they mocked black people. In response to him "snitching," Momodo subsequently found photographs posted throughout campus depicted a black slave in shackles with his face photoshopped on to the black body. Local news outlets reported on the event, writing: "On Saturday 16 April 2011, two student associations (Hallands and Helsingkrona), known as "Nations" in Lund University were involved in a controversial party showcasing a "slave auction". During the party organized by Hallands Nation, 3 [White] people with blackened faces..." You get the idea.
