During yesterday evening's Compensatory Call-In 08/11/12, a long time listener, "BMore," was willing to divulge her difficulties on the plantation. Listeners and Gus T. discussed actions to take in response to being terminated from her job. Gus thought Mr. Fuller would have constructive thoughts on this matter, so we rose early and gave him a ring. We'll request Fuller's thoughts on what would be the best way to proceed once you've been fired. He emphasizes that most of his suggestions work better when applied before you lose your employment. This broadcast was simultaneous with the Olympic gold medal contest between Spain and the US. Robert Dvorchak returns to the Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Dvorchak worked for forty-four years as a journalist with Uniontown Newspapers Inc., the Associated Press, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Unfortunately, he's all too familiar with White child rapists. We spoke with him in late 2011 about his biography on Jeffrey Dahmer, Milwaukee Massacre. At that time, news was just breaking about the arrest of then Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky. The reverberations shocked the Pennsylvania campus, where riots erupted when head football coach Joe Paterno was fired for knowingly or unknowingly aiding and abetting a child rapist. Dvorchak told us he was working on a book about Sandusky's years of child abuse, and that text is now here. Game Over: Jerry Sandusky, Penn State, and the Culture of Silence is co-authored by Bill Moushey and Dvorchak, and details how many White people did know or should have known about Sandusky's sexual terrorism.
