    The C.O.W.S. w/ Johnny Lee Gaddy: Florida's Dozier School Aug 31, 2016
    Show notes

Pastor Johnny Lee Gaddy visits The Context of White Supremacy. At the age of eleven, Mr. Gaddy was remanded to Florida's Dozier Reform School. He attended the school from 1957 to 1961. He was subjected to a constant living hell. Ms. Antoinette Harrell interviewed Mr. Gaddy and many other Dozier victims and ultimately helped Mr. Gaddy write about his experiences in the book, They Told Me Not To Tell: Dozier Reform School Was A Living Hell. He speaks candidly about being raped as a child and witnessing other boys being sexually terrorized with impunity. Mr. Gaddy also details how young black children were enslaved and forced to do grueling farm work that produced a massive profit. Mr. Gaddy reveals "he was in constant fear for his life. He witnessed a child hand in the trash pit and a child foot in the hog pen; the foot was being fed to the hogs." #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

    The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 08/27/16 Aug 27, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS George E. Curry, former editor of the National Newspaper Publishers Association and Emerge magazine, died August 20th at the age of 69. Alice Jervay Thatch recounted his relentless commitment to counter-racism. "George Curry was a part of NNPAâ??s effort to gain pardons for the Wilmington Ten. On the day NNPA announced at the National Press Club our intent to secure those pardons, George interviewed Wilmington Ten leader Dr. Ben Chavis onstage. It brought tears to our eyes, including Benâ??s. Later, Ben had to admit that this was the most emotional interview he had experienced and the first time he had cried in public!" More than a decade after the levee failure and Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana is again suffering historic flooding; General Russel Honor© reports that more than 100,000 homes have been decimated. Nate Parker has supplanted Bill Cosby as the symbol of rape culture. Parker has not been convicted of any sexual crimes and a has film slated for release in weeks, but what's become primary are the unsubstantiated allegations of a dead White woman. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. BLOOD BROTHERS Part VII Aug 26, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on Randy Roberts and Johnny Smith's 2016 text, Blood Brothers: The Fatal Friendship Between Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X. The book was published weeks before the passing of Ali. Roberts and Smith, both Suspected Racists, catalog their interpretation of the genesis and rapid conclusion to Ali and Minister Malcolm's relationship and how their friendship dissolved as Minister Malcolm's banishment from Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam became permanent. Unfortunately, Ali was not able to reconcile things before Malcolm's 1965 assasination. Last week's session was one of the few portions of the book not peppered with FBI sources; this is mostly because the section offered a comprehensive analysis of Cassius Clay's astonishing defeat of Sonny Liston in 1964. After winning the heavyweight championship, the authors detail how Minister Malcolm hoped to get back into good graces with the Nation of Islam by offering the new king of boxing to Elijah Muhammad. Many listeners and Gus viewed Roberts' and Smith's presentation of these events as though Minister Malcolm hatched a Machiavellian scheme to manipulate Clay for his own personal gain. Other biographies on Minister Malcolm provide a different analysis of what Minister Malcolm hoped to accomplish from Cassius Clay's ascendancy. The book also explores the political maturation of Clay and how being heavyweight champion exponentially increased his ability to address Racism. Again, this text should illustrate the importance of not name-calling black people. #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. Global Sunday Talk On Racism 08/21/16 Aug 21, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our monthly Global Sunday Talk On Racism. This broadcast is egineered to encourage participation from Victims of Racisms outside the United States and/or non-white people who are not able to take part during our typical program time. Our July broadcast of this segment was simultaneous with the reported shooting of three police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We'll get an international analysis of last month's alleged police killings as well as the five year anniversary of the killing of Mark Duggan and the ensuing "London Riots." Much like Michael Brown Jr., Sandra Bland, Sarah Reed, Tamir Rice and so many other dead black people, no one was ever prosecuted for Duggan's death. We also look forward to hearing global thoughts on the 2016 Olympics in Brazil. Heavily melanated athletes took lots of gold, but an equal amount of time was spent discussing the Zika virus as well as Racist Suspect Ryan Lochte. #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

    The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 08/20/16 Aug 20, 2016

#ANTIBLACKNESS As predictable as mosquitos and sun burned Whites in August, the police killing of a black male, Sylville Smith, provoked days of unrest and destruction in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Seeing as this month is the 4th anniversary of the police killing of Mark Duggan and the subsequent "London Riots" as well as the Marikana mining massacre in South Africa, no one should be bewildered by these routine disturbances. Another recurring theme on the global plantation is White liars. US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is suspected of fabricating a grizzly tale where he and three other athletes were robbed at gun point in Brazil. Video footage of the alleged mugging has been released; however, Lochte has still garnered a high level of sympathy and support. Conversely, film maker Nate Parker, who's feature-length film on counter-terrorist Nat Turner is slated to be released later this year, has been badgered by allegations that he raped a White Woman while attending Penn State University. Parker was tried and acquitted for this sexual assault nearly 20 years ago, but this hasn't stopped a campaign to boycott his film and impale his career. #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. BLOOD BROTHERS Part VI Aug 19, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the sixth study session on Randy Roberts and Johnny Smith's 2016 book, Blood Brothers: The Fatal Friendship Between Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X. The text was released months before the death of Ali. Roberts and Smith, both Racist Suspects, provide their interpretation of the genesis and abrupt conclusion to Ali and Minister Malcolm's relationship and how their friendship deteriorated as Minister Malcolm's exile from Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam became permanent. Unfortunately, Ali failed to reconcile things before Malcolm's 1965 assasination. Last week's session continued to evidence the extraordinary surveillance that Malcolm, Ali and the NOI were subjected to. FBI agents were in attendance for many meetings with these powerful black figures, and all manner of electronic equipment was employed to gain as much detail as possible about their lives as possible. Listeners/readers have consistently and shrewdly pointed out how the possible Racism of the authors influences the narrative, how we are encouraged to think about these Victims of Racism. Again, this text should highlight the importance of not name-calling black people. #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

    The C.O.W.S. Counter-Racist Review: Sue Africa Aug 15, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts a counter-racist review of Sue Africa's recent performance on the broadcast. Sue Africa is one of the few White members of the Philadelphia MOVE collective. She's been with he group for more than thirty years, spent time in prison, and was confined to a mental institution as a result of her activities. Ramona Africa said that Sue Africa has suffered as much or more than any other MOVE member. During her visit to The C.O.W.S., Sue Africa agreed that it is logical for non-white people to not trust any White person until White Supremacy has been permanently eliminated. However, she was extremely agitated about being questioned with suspicion as a White Woman. She did share intriguing anecdotes about how she practiced White Supremacy against black members of MOVE; she testified that she used a coat made by a member's black grandmother as a blanket for her hounds. When asked if she continues to practice Racism (White Supremacy) and why she emplys profanity to communicate, she became defensive and accused Gus of being a "cop." This represents one of the more fascinating, informative segments of The C.O.W.S. #RacismIsNotAPrivilege INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
