We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS 16 years to the day after Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent levee failure drowned the city of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region, leaving more than 1,000 casualties (many of them black people), Hurricane Ida pummeled the same area. Although there was no spectacular flooding this time, the wind damage left 1 million people without power and legions without running water. There's no timetable for when New Orleans's residents will be able to return. However, "Anti-Looting Patrols" are actively securing the "Crescent City." On the west coast, wild fires forced tens of thousands to evacuate, destroyed hundreds of acres of California land, and blanketed the pacific coast with a smokey haze. Labor Day celebrations would be decidedly dampened with the numerous U.S. disasters unfolding. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Racists have used a tumultuous, confounding, and grueling 2021 to punish non-white people around the world. The workplace continues to be especially challenging. There's been a complete spectrum of chaos. From Washington state to Illinois, worker shortages are making a stressful start to the new school year even more anxious - if not down right impossible. A week after the Food And Drug Administration officially approved the Pfizer vaccine, more businesses and universities moved to require vaccines for all students and/or employees. On one hand, White police officers, White fire fighters and a myriad of other workers loudly oppose these requirements. The fake vaccine card business is booming, and there are support groups to assist employees successfully claim a religious exemption to vaccines. On the other hand, fears of another shutdown and the potential work stoppages, layoffs and closures makes autumn look ominous. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Woody Allen's Apropos of Nothing. One of the most critically acclaimed movie-makers of all time, Woody Allen is a New York City and entertainment icon. In addition to his flicks, he's performed comedy, played packed concert halls, and written books - Apropos of Nothing being his most recent. Published in 2020, the text recounts his life, celebrated career, and "romance" with Soon-Yi Previn. In addition to being non-white, adopted/abducted from Korea, and decades younger than Allen, Previn was Allen's stepchild. Despite a damning Child Protective Services investigation and years of allegations of child rape and sexual abuse of children, Allen remains beloved my hoards of Whites. We'll examine this work for what it reveals about White culture. During our last reading, Allen details his burgeoning entertainment career, which afforded him the access to even more powerful Whites. He visits the president for a 2nd time, and brags about kicking it at the Playboy mansion. The C.O.W.S. Hurricane Ida: Why Are Whites Calling This "Katrina's Anniversary"? Aug 30, 2021

The Context of White Supremacy examines the catastrophe in Louisiana where Hurricane Ida is pummeling the region. This storm - described as the most powerful to touch Louisiana since 1850, touched down 16 years to the day since Hurricane Katrina and the levee failure. With more than 1,000 black people perishing during the first week of the storm, the 2005 catastrophe remains one of the deadliest occurrences in U.S. history. The C.O.W.S. hosted numerous authors, filmmakers and Katrina survivors to better understand how White Supremacists, not the flood waters or failed levees, were the biggest problem. As of August 30th, the entire city of New Orleans is without power. 911 calls are suspended in some areas of the state. Gus will remind listeners that White Supremacists love and exploit chaotic environments like this. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) formally approved the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. This led to the Pentagon and other employers mandating vaccines for all employees, and President Biden strongly encouraged other companies to do the same. The Taliban is accused of a terrorist attack on a Kabul airport, where at least 60 Afghans (non-white people) and thirteen U.S. citizens perished. These events were drowned out in some quarters where attention was focused on the so called "milk crate challenge." Conspicuously, viral videos erupted where almost exclusively black people harmed themselves while scaling a pyramid of milk crates. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration formally approved the Phizer coronavirus vaccine. This led to a number of businesses to immediately institute vaccine mandates for employees. The Pentagon followed suit, requiring all members of the armed forces to be vaccinated. Ironically, Delta Airlines (sharing the name of the current covid variant menacing the planet) announced that unvaccinated employees must pay a monthly $200 surcharge. In addition to being adopted from Vietnam, non-white, and decades younger than Allen, Previn was Allen's stepchild. We'll examine this work for what it reveals about White culture. Last week's session saw Allen name drop dozens of White Hollywood icons. From Jack Lemon to Mel Brooks and Jackie Gleason, Allen makes sure readers know he's been hobnobbing with royalty for decades. Allen continues his pattern of projecting sexual deviance onto White Women he's pursuing. While out to dinner with Jean, he provides a vivid description of her begging to ditching the supper table to go have sex in a dark alley just beyond the viewing public. Allen describes himself as squeamish and hesitant about this explicit display, but admits he ultimately did "succumb." The most recent death toll estimates more than 1,000 casualties. In this midst, the island faces heavy rains from Tropical Storm Grace which stalled rescue and aid efforts for the earthquake. Whites around the globe wait for the opportunity to "help" and "pounce." Across the planet, Taliban forces reportedly took control in Afghanistan. Some blame the current conflict in this region on the withdrawal of the U.S. military. Back in the states, R&B crooner R. Kelly returned to court facing a wrack of charges that he sexually groomed and assaulted underage girls. Speaking of children in peril, the new academic school year is set to begin amidst total anarchy. Ambiguity reigns as regions across the land try to implement mask and vaccine polices for students, faculty, and staff. The confusion and constant flip-flopping on policy has left guardians and children exasperated. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Summer 2021 concludes with swirling confusion about many things. A return to school is looming for many children and university scholars, but policies about masks and vaccines for educators and academic staff remains contentious and varies wildly depending on geography. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis threatened to block payment to Florida educators who defy his orders and require students to wear masks. Beyond the classroom, other workers are grappling with similar conditions. Some proprietors are leery of returning to mask mandates for fear of losing customers. Conversely, other establishments have instituted vaccine mandates for employees and customers.
