The Context of White Supremacy was scheduled to speak with Dr. Ryan Martin (@AngerProfessor). Martin confirmed with Gus on Sunday, December 5th. Dr. Martin emailed Gus hours before we were scheduled to air live requesting more information on the program. He reneged on our visit less than one hour before the live broadcast. After ditching us at the last moment, Martin emailed snarky remarks and followed our social media commentary. Gus has been hosting this program for nearly 13 years. The professional, non-tacky procedure is to request information about a broadcast before accepting the invite and choosing a date to rendezvous. When not wasting time, Dr. Martin teaches courses on mental health and emotion and is a nationally known anger researcher. Given the litany of protests, school shootings, unruly airline passengers and fisticuffs over Covid-19 and Critical Race Theory, Gus thought it would be constructive to speak with someone who reaches why people rage. The pandemic has stressed the entire planet, and many have channeled the additional anxiety into unbridled fury. Gus hoped to address Dr. Martin's consistently inaccurate commentary which attributes how "men" are rewarded for being angry. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS 15-year-old White high school student Ethan Crumbley kicked off the holiday season by killing four of his White classmates and shooting other students and a teacher. Crumbley was taken into custody, will be charged as an adult, and is facing terrorism charges for the massacre. Shockingly, Crumbley's White parents have also been charged and arrested. Crumbley's father James allegedly purchased his son a firearm on "black friday" and failed to secure the device correctly. This happens to be the same state where White militants were just arrested for plotting to kidnap and kill the Michigan governor. In addition to kidnappings and school shootings, Michigan is also dealing with an uptick of Covid-19 infections. The "omicron" variant has been reported within the U.S., and considerations are being made about travel restrictions and new protocols to forestall another lockdown. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, "holiday" season 2021 is in full bloom. Now that we have vaccines and many companies's workforce have returned to the office - at least to some degree, many bosses are resurrecting Christmas parties. We'll discuss tips for navigating these potential crass, dangerous events. We'll also review the ongoing madness around vaccine. This week offered more evidence of unequal enforcement of vaccine policies, where White people and non-white people are not subjected to the same rules and punishments around the Covid-19 vaccine and social distancing. We'll also remind full time students to be mindful of destructive peer pressure from their fellow classmates (co-workers). The Context of White Supremacy hosts the fourth study session on Shanna Swan's (PhD) Count Down: How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperiling the Future of the Human Race. Students of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing and her theory of White Genetic Annihilation will recognize the significance of this text. The foundation of Dr. Welsing's theory is that individuals classified as White represent less than 10% of the global population. Their minuscule numbers as compared to the non-white people of the planet motivate Whites to maintain and refine their System of White Supremacy. Swan's book examines the dropping fertility rates in North America and Europe. During last week's session, Swan outlined a variety of lifestyle choices that can adversely impact male and female fertility. She repeatedly cited the dangers of alcohol, cigarette smoking, plastics, obesity, and "couch potato" living. Apparently, alcohol consumption has such a corrosive impact on male penis health, alcohol-induced erectile failure is euphemistically known as: "Whiskey Dick," "which Men’s Health magazine calls 'the greatest curse known to mankind.'" We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS While the U.S. prepared to gorge on turkey and promote White Supremacist lies about a mythical feast between Whites and so called Indians, a black male, Darrell Brooks, is accused of killing six people and wounding dozens when he drove an SUV into a Wisconsin Christmas parade. Numerous reports call attention to Brooks' history of domestic abuse and question why he was ever released from greater confinement. Prior to the parade attack, many were anxious for a verdict in the Ahmaud Arbery murder trial. The nearly all White jury (11 of 12) will decide if yet more White Men will be turned loose in the name of "self defense." One week after two black males were exonerated for the assassination of Minister Malcolm X, Malikah Shabazz, one of the minister's six daughters, reportedly died at her residence. Police officials announced there was no cause for suspicion. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. As 2021 creeps to a merciful conclusion, vaccine enforcement continues to roil work environments. As consumers prepare to descend on shopping centers across the country (world), a number of stores have not complied with federal vaccine mandates. Some employers allegedly fear staffing shortages if workers opt to quit as opposed to being vaccinated. With a number of high profile racial trials happening in the U.S., Gus reminds non-white people to refrain from discuss any aspect of these trials. If a co-worker (White or non-white) asks for your views on Kyle Rittenhouse, Ahmaud Arbery, Rev. Al Sharpton or any other component of the court room proceedings, plead ignorance and pivot the subject back to workplace matters. Speaking of matters unrelated to work, this is "holiday season," and this year may mark to the resurrection of the dreaded office parties. The Context of White Supremacy monthly Global Sunday Talk on Racism. This broadcast is intended to encourage participation from non-white people in different parts of the world and Victims of Racism who are not able to join during the normal broadcast time. Austria has seen a resurgence of Covid-19 infections, and government officials responded with stringent restrictions. Initially, the unvaccinated were required to lockdown. But in short order, the entire population was required to shelter in place - regardless of vaccination status. This is only suppose to last until next month. However, vaccine mandates will take effect in February of 2022. We'll check in with listeners in different parts of the world to see how they're responding to the vaccines, the virus and the accompanying conflict. The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse was front page news all over the world. We'll see if our global participants have been following the exoneration of the White killer teen. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS White teenage killer Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges after he shot three people last summer in Wisconsin, killing two White men in the process. 11 White people and 1 non-white person made the ruling. While Rittenhouse heads back to Illinois as a free teenager, pundits theorize about the message this acquittal sends to other armed Whites and how this will impact the Ahmaud Arbery murder trial, which is ongoing in Georgia. Attorneys for the three White male defendants balked about Rev. Al Sharpton's presence last week. This week Jesse Jackson Sr. arrived, and defense attorneys wanted him booted too. Outside the courtroom, black clergy protested calls to ban the presence of Jackson and other black supporters. Speaking of black clergy, two of the convicted killers of Minister Malcolm X were exonerated more than 50 years after the 1965 murder. The re-opened investigation concluded that evidence of Khalil Islam and Muhammad Aziz's innocence was ignored and suppressed by the FBI, NYPD, and the prosecuting attorneys. Last week, B in Toronto, a long time C.O.W.S. listener, talked about the months of terrorism she experienced in the workplace. Her intellectual property was stolen, a black co-worker accused her of having a "slave mentality," and correct information was withheld from her. After weeks of frustration and anger, B shared that she felt thoughts of suicide. It is massively important to acknowledge and respond to evidence of mental health trauma resulting from workplace abuse.
