The Business of Being Yourself with Tiffany Han (formerly Raise Your Hand Say Yes)

Everyone wants to teach women how to build businesses, but almost nobody is talking about the woman doing the building. But after 16 years in business and nearly 3 million podcast downloads, I’ve become convinced of something: You are the best asset your business has.

Which means that who you are, how you show up, what you believe, and what brings you to life are the business-building tools we *need* to be talking about. In this weekly-ish show, I explore ambition, creativity, visibility, reinvention, delight, and the messy, ongoing work of becoming more yourself on purpose. Because being who you are isn’t something you do after you’ve made it, it’s what makes everything else possible.

Ep. 104: The Stories We Tell Ourselves Aug 30, 2016
    Show notes

    I don't have time.

    The circumstances aren't right.

    I can't do it.

These are all stories we tell ourselves. Usually-false stories that we let hold us back from moving forward with our creative work. This week on the podcast, I'm diving into the truth behind the stories, giving you advice on what to focus on instead, and showing how I move through my own self-defeating stories.

If you're tired of thinking you don't have time or tired of not making your move or just-plain tired, this episode is for you!

Michelle Bablo is an event designer and the founder and Creative Director of Hell Yes Design Studio, and I was thrilled to talk with her for this week's episode of Raise Your Hand Say Yes.

We also talked about the power of creating your own career, how to stay authentic to your own voice (and why it's so critical in creative industries!), and what to do after you have your "did I just commit to that crazy thing?" freak out.

If you're someone who's ready to take some risks in your creative life and career, this episode is for you!
