The Business of Being Yourself with Tiffany Han (formerly Raise Your Hand Say Yes)

Everyone wants to teach women how to build businesses, but almost nobody is talking about the woman doing the building. But after 16 years in business and nearly 3 million podcast downloads, I’ve become convinced of something: You are the best asset your business has.

Which means that who you are, how you show up, what you believe, and what brings you to life are the business-building tools we *need* to be talking about. In this weekly-ish show, I explore ambition, creativity, visibility, reinvention, delight, and the messy, ongoing work of becoming more yourself on purpose. Because being who you are isn’t something you do after you’ve made it, it’s what makes everything else possible.

Ep. 247: Tanya Geisler and the Imposter Complex May 21, 2019
    Show notes

"I'm not good enough. I'm not ready. I don't belong here." These are just a few of the things the Imposter Complex would have us believe (yes! there's a name for that!) and this week I'm thrilled to have life coach and Imposter Complex expert Tanya Geisler back on the podcast to talk all about the Imposter Complex.

In this episode, you'll hear what it is, how it shows up, what it means if you experience these things (it's good, I promise!) and how you can move beyond it to get all those things you want for your life (looking at you money, sex, and freedom!).

    Ep. 246: Money, Sex, Freedom...and God? May 14, 2019
    Show notes

Ahhhh! Money Sex Freedom is here! This week, I'm sharing the back story about why I'm launching this series, why I almost didn't do it (cause that fear voice is loud y'all) and why I think money and sex can lead us straight to God. (Am I allowed to talk about all of this in the same conversation? Yes. Yes I am.)

There's also an invitation in here for you to let me know your money, sex, and freedom questions (you know...the ones that are hard to talk about or say out loud!) so that I can explore them with future guests!

    Ep. 245: 5 Things I Wish I'd Known and The Best Advice I've Ever (!) Gotten May 07, 2019
    Show notes

I've learned a ton in my nearly 5 years of podcasting, and this week, I'm sharing five of the things I wish I'd known when I started this show back in 2014.

Whether you have a podcast or not, these five learnings are universal. And yay! I'm sharing them here so you don't have to learn them the hard way!

This week, I'm also sharing the absolute best advice I've ever gotten, how it's helped me, and how I got a divine intervention reinforcement of it at a meditation retreat with Lacy Young. It will likely surprise you! (And from what I know about y'all, it's likely something you could stand to hear too!)

Ep. 242: The Systems + Structures I'm Using to Change My Ways Apr 16, 2019
    Show notes

In early April, I started a 100-day challenge called #100daystochangemyways. This week, I'm taking you behind the scenes of what that really means, why I'm doing it, and what tools, structures, and systems I'm experimenting with to help me implement that change.

You'll learn about what scenario helps me feel totally fine about eating ramen for dinner, why I'm trying to get my book proposal written quickly (but without having to hustle) and how I'm planning my days *and* the next 6 months of my work!

Ep. 241: State of the Union: Before, After, and the Messy Middle Apr 09, 2019
    Show notes

In our fast-moving, hyper-connected world, it's always good to pause for a check-in, so that's what I'm doing today! I've got Erin Cassidy (a long-time RYHSY guest!) back today and we're doing a little State of the Union to talk about what's going on over here at RYHSYHQ, how the new brand is shaking out, what it was like to work on the new site and how we're faring.

So many of the success stories we hear involve the narrative of "I did things. They were hard. BUT LOOK AT MEEEEE NOW!!" and that's great. But it's also great to hear from people when they're in the midst of figuring things out, which is what you'll hear today.

Ep. 240: The Opposite of Burnout Apr 02, 2019
    Show notes

When was the last time you woke up feeling like you were excited to dive into your day? If you're not sure, you might be suffering from burnout.

In this week's episode, I'm sharing the 12 phases of burnout (as developed by psychologists!) and talking about how why I think—as hand raisers and yes sayers—we're especially prone to burning ourselves out.

I'm also sharing one of my favorite super-easy-to-start-using tools for beginning to move yourself beyond burnout.

In addition, you'll hear from one of my current Raise Your Hand Say Yes students, Michelle Barnes, about her experience in the course and what it's given her EVEN THOUGH from the outside looking in, her life is as busy as ever!! (And heads up: registration closes Friday, 4/5!

Ep. 239: The Convenience of Your Fear Mar 26, 2019
    Show notes

Wait. Fear is convenient? You might be thinking, "no way!" but on this week's episode, I'm going into how our habitual fear responses are getting in our way and what we can do instead.

SO MUCH of raising your hand and saying yes starts with looking at the individual moments of your everyday life. (Even though it's way more fun to daydream about those Big Things the future holds.) This week, I'll show you how those two are woven together and help get you on your path to ease, freedom, and flow!

You'll also hear from Elizabeth Simms, one of my current Raise Your Hand Say Yes students, on what my year-long course has done for her and her life! And there's still time to sign up for the class—we start April 1 and the first 50 registrants receive a bonus 1-on-1 session with me!

Ep. 238: The Integration Problem (aka What to do When it's Time to Follow Through) Mar 19, 2019
    Show notes

It's easy to focus on the first step necessary when taking on something new (and challenging!), but the follow-through is actually a much harder thing to integrate.

This week I'm talking all about integration and how I think it's time we turn our gaze from the beginning of an endeavor to what happens when we get into something—how do we stay connected and on track, especially when that pesky fear and doubt creep in?

I'll go all in this week on my own very recent integration problem and offer 4 things to keep in mind as you work on your own integration! You'll also hear from Stacy Kazimer, one of my current Raise Your Hand Say Yes students, on what my year-long course has done for her and her life!
