How to Eat Like a Christian Apr 02, 2019
    Show notes

“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My Flesh” John 6:51. We see that the flesh of Jesus was given for the life of the world. There is a meal for us that is connected to the Cross of Jesus Christ to partake of that leads to our sanctification. As we look at the work of Jesus on the Cross we will see that is how we partake of His flesh and blood. The cross is a meal that is meant to sustain us every single day of our Christians lives.

In this podcast, Peter explains how we engage with the flesh and blood of Jesus and it pertains to our sanctification in Christ.

Salvation and righteousness are two sides to the same coin. Salvation is being saved from sin, death, and the power of the evil one. Righteousness is the nature of God conferred upon us as a gift to be received by faith (Romans 3:22). Understanding that the believer has been made righteous because of the works of Jesus is pivotal to our intimacy with God.

Moses Salvation vs. Jesus Salvation Part 1 Mar 12, 2019
    Show notes

I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord (Exodus 6:7-8). Not only does God save Israel out of Egypt but wants to bring them into the Promised Land. Moses is sent by God to save Egypt out of slavery; later down in history God sends Jesus to save mankind from slavery to sin.
In this podcast Peter explains how the works of Moses and Joshua correlate to the works of Jesus pertaining to our salvation.

Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians (Exodus 6:6-7). Consequences Part 2 Feb 19, 2019
    Show notes

“Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths” (Genesis 3:7). The eyes of Adam and Eve were opened to their own nakedness which led to shame and caused them to shrink back from the presence of God. The knowledge of good and evil ruined the way that Adam and Eve viewed themselves and God.

In this podcast, Peter explains how through Jesus and His works we can now walk with a clear conscience before God which Adam and Eve first had before their eyes were opened to the knowledge of good and evil.

“But from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die” (Genesis 2:17). We see that God says that both Adam and Eve would surely die the day that they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. What died that day? Their spirits had died. It took 900 yrs for death to fully work its way in them. The eyes of Adam and Eve were opened to their own nakedness which caused them to hide from God.

In this podcast, Peter talks about the consequences that took place after the fall to show us what we have been restored back into through Jesus in hopes that our conscious would be clear of the guilt and shame that keeps so many of us bound.

    The Garden Part 2 Feb 13, 2019
    Show notes

And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed” (Genesis 2:25). Before the fall, there wasn’t any shame between God and man. The passivity of Adam with the word of God led to Eve’s deception. After being deceived by the serpent to partake of the fruit, their eyes were opened to their own nakedness which brought shame which cause them to be afraid of God.“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings” (Genesis 3:7).

In this podcast, Peter takes us into an in depth journey of the fall to show us how and what man fell from in hopes to see what we have been restored back into through Jesus

    Show notes

For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust” (2 Peter 1:4). Here are the three main promises that we are going to look at together: The promise of the Messiah (salvation), The baptism of the Holy Spirit (power), and the return of Jesus. Faith in each of these promises (the works of Jesus) will allow us to fully experience all that God has for us.

In this podcast, Peter starts to give us context on which each of these three promises come; by starting in The Garden.
