Kyle Seager slugged his 200th career home run, Marco Gonzales pitched seven strong, and Mariners held on to a one-run lead late to beat the Angels 7-6. The Seahawks picked up defensive back DJ Reed off waivers from the 49ers. Reed tore his pectoral earlier this summer and is not expected back to start the season, but could provide some secondary depth, particularly in the nickel spot. Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett admits he's concerned about health & safety this season, considering there is still so much unknown. Lockett also spoke about the chemistry he has with Russell Wilson and an impressive rookie season from DK Metcalf.
