Seahawks announced that there will be no fans in the stands for their first three home games, which includes match-ups against the Patriots, Cowboys and Vikings. Russell Wilson shared a few more thoughts on Seattle's offense, "Let Russ Cook," and the Hawks considering WR's Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon. The Mariners beat the Dodgers 6-4, snapping LA's seven-game win streak. Taijuan Walker overcame some early long-ball struggles by making an in-game adjustment with his off-speed pitches and Austin Nola had another great night at the plate, driving in four runs. Meanwhile, the M's made roster moves including designating DH Daniel Vogelbach for assignment.

Pac-12 and Big Ten officially postpone fall sports Aug 12, 2020

The Seahawks begin training camp today! The Pac-12 postponed all sports through the end of the year, citing health and safety concerns. The postponement applies to football, but also winter sports scheduled to start in 2020, like basketball. Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said student athletes will continue to have their scholarships guaranteed. The Big Ten also postponed fall sports, but the SEC, ACC and Big 12 remain confident they'll proceed with the season. What does this mean for the College Football Playoff? What is the viability of playing college football in the spring? The Mariners fell to the Rangers 4-2 to tie the series at one apiece.
