The Bill and Doug Show: Ohio State Football Talk

The Ohio State Buckeyes are the most interesting team in college football, and Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis love talking ball and having fun with the fans of the defending national champions. Doug and Bill combine for more than three decades of on-the-ground experience covering Ohio State, and they’ve been talking Buckeyes on podcasts since 2015. Ohio State hires Arthur Smith, former NFL head coach and play caller, as offensive coordinator Jan 25, 2026

Ohio State hired a new offensive coordinator on Saturday night and it's Arthur Smith, who was most recently the play caller for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Smith was also the head coach of the Tennessee Titans for three seasons, but now he will run the Buckeyes' offense for Ryan Day in 2026.
