Show notes

We recorded this episode on Monday afternoon, not long after our Birmingham live show very unexpectedly sold out really quickly, and Melanie and I were so incredibly grateful but also shellshocked. Maybe that's why I forgot to turn on my microphone when we recorded, and by the way, you're welcome for that. AUDIO EXCELLENCE. OUR HALLMARK.
So all that to say, this week we talk about some things. And it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.
We sure do love y'all.

The Big Boo Cast, Episode 369 Dec 21, 2023

Show notes

This week you'll hear the riveting details of our Christmas grocery and meal planning, not to mention that we share a lot of strong feelings about meat (I'm just not interested) and seafood (Melanie's not interested). Thankfully though we are both very interested in TV right now, so we talk about that too.
Finally, consider yourself warned that we might slightly overshare our feelings about the dynamic between Kathy Hilton and Paris Hilton in Paris in Love. We have so many thoughts about it. Plus, it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites. Except it's really Four Favorites this week. It'll all make sense when you listen.
Enjoy, everybody!

The Big Boo Cast, Episode 367 Dec 07, 2023

Show notes

This is the maybe the closest Melanie and I have ever cut it in terms of getting an episode out on time, but travel has interfered with our recording schedule this week. The good news, though, is that we had a lot of catching up to do, and recording an episode is a fine way to do that. We cover a lot of ground - my trip to NYC, the kids getting home for Christmas, and our continued deep thoughts and feelings about Taylor and Travis.
We also talk about what we have coming up in our January book club on Patreon, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Show notes

The Aggies and the Bulldogs have new head football coaches, so this week Melanie and I talk through some of the drama (on the A&M side, especially) surrounding the hiring process and how said drama led to some amusing social media moments. And of course we discuss the Iron Bowl and that last touchdown and how we relate on so many levels to the Auburn heartache.
There's also a quick look back at our respective Thanksgivings, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.
