Hank Green (one-half of the VlogBrothers) wants to know why the Left doesn't have anything like PragerU. Well, Hank, let me explain. (And I'll see you next Tuesday).
Finally, PragerU has gone full-Nazi propaganda. Let's discuss in terms of the global white supremacy that is so resurgent.

Episode 708 | Trump's Legion of (Rhymes with Doom)
**WARNING ⚠️ There is language in this episode that will offend many and make for an uncomfortable listening experience. I don't apologize for the language. Just want to give you a fair warning. ⚠️ **
This is a tough episode for me. I don't like discussing internal Black issues publicly. I generally like to only discuss these issues at our monthly secret society of Blackness meetings. But this can't wait. Let's discuss Trump's legion of doom -- his legion of black folks who Stepin Fetich their ways to a nice check.
And keep in mind -- unlike what some have said on Twitter, I don't think they are mentally ill and I think they are making a conscious decision to fill a lane that the vast majority of Black folks would never dare fill. Finally, they're making money doing this. So they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Episode 708 | Interview with "The Family" Netflix Documentary Author, Jeff Sharlet Sep 04, 2019
    Show notes

Episode 708 | The Family is a Netflix documentary about an "enigmatic Conservative Christian group... The Family wields strong influence over Washington D.C. in pursuit of its global ambitions."
In this episode, I speak with the author of the book that the documentary is based on, Jeff Sharlet. We dig into this series as well as the political and social implications of a religious organization that wields this much influence over political leaders.

Episode 707 | Interview with Jamelle Bouie of The New York Times | Xenophobic Attacks in South Africa
I had the chance to speak with Jamelle Bouie of the New York Times and we discussed his articles on a range of topics from politics to race and media bias. Full, un-edited version of the conversation available for Patrons.
Also, xenophobic violence has erupted as Black South Africans are targeting Nigerians. We'll listen to the reaction by President Cycil Ramaphosa and leader of the Economic Freedom Fighter, Julius Malema. You will recall, we did an extensive episode on Malema's plan to expropriate farmland from white South Africans without compensation. Episode 556 is available here: https://www.spreaker.com/user/thebenjamindixonshow/episode-556-south-african-land-expropria

Episode 706 | Labor Day | Bigotry is Bigotry | Jay-Z is Shucking and Jiving Sep 02, 2019
    Show notes

Episode 706 | The Labor Force Awakens
When last we met, our heroes had sacrificed.... okay nevermind. I can't possibly write this description in the format of a Star Wars episode... but I tried.
Labor Day 2019 and labor is as important today as ever before.
Check out this video of a woman who uses a new law in Mississippi to discriminate against the LGBTQ community and "Mixed Race" marriages.
Finally, it hurts me to have to say this: but Jay Z is a Stepin Fetchit-@$$-N*gga. Listen to this clip and let's discuss the real implications of blaming "angry young men" for their assassinations by the police.

Episode 705 | Fred Hampton 50 Years Later | Race and Class | Our "Black" Free Agency Aug 30, 2019
    Show notes

Episode 705 | So many miles to cover in this episode. First, we honor Chairman Fred Hampton on what would have been his 71st birthday. Then, we discuss his supposed alliance with a "racist" organization that was actually anti-racist. Finally, we discuss the need for non-black people to respect the political agency of Black people. Believe it or not, we can make decisions on our own.

Episode 704 | Bret Stephens' Bed Bug Controversy | No Joe Walsh | Yamiche Calls Trump a Liar Aug 28, 2019
    Show notes

Episode 704 | Imagine the worst thing you've been called is a bed bug. Now imagine leaving twitter over it and going on national television to complain about it. That's exactly what one conservative commentator did. Let's discuss how conservatives are the snowflakes they hate so much.
Joe Walsh launched a campaign against Donald Trump. Now he's lost his nationally syndicated radio show. And for what? Trump is going to win the primary because Republicans love his policies even if they hate his oafishness.
Finally, credit where credit is due. PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor is perhaps one of the only journalists bold enough to call Donald Trump a liar to his face.

Episode 703 | Interview with Rosa Clemente
This episode was a pleasure to record. I had a chance to speak with organizer, activist, and independent journalist, Rosa Clemente. I was also joined by my good sister, Anoa Changa. We spoke about Puerto Rico, the diaspora, the renaissance of fascism and global white supremacy, as well as organizing, voting, and changing America.
    Enjoy this immensely important conversation.

Episode 702 | Trump's Trade War | France Leads on Iran Nuke Deal | Nikki Halley Fails | Primary Pettiness Aug 26, 2019
    Show notes

    Episode 702 |
Donald Trump's chief propagandist was sent out to Fox News to try to explain why the trade war with China isn't going good. Amongst other lies, Stephen Miller tried to rewrite history blaming deindustrialization on the Obama administration. But we've been headed this direction at least since 1972. Let's discuss.
Also, Nikki Haley tries to bash socialism and makes herself look like a fool in the process.
Finally -- let's talk more about primary pettiness and why it's extremely important that we don't get caught up in it.
