But Bloomberg is not only an oligarch, he has a racist, classist, transphobic past that shows that he will not only serve the interests of his fellow oligarchs, but he will be a threat to minorities, poor people, and the LGBTQ community.

Walker Bragman (@WalkerBragman on Twitter) found an amazing clip of Mayor Pete from just a year ago where he makes the case for socialism and expanding the Overton window to include everything that Sanders stands for. What happened to this Pete!? Which Pete is the real one? Does it even matter?

USA Today has an article out saying that Moderate Dems must consider Bernie Sanders because he is the candidate that can beat Trump. Thing is, the people want to beat Trump -- but the establishment players would rather lose with Bloomberg than win with Sanders.

Michael Bloomberg purchasing this election is a unique threat to democracy and we need to start calling out all of the people who have shown that they are for sale. What's more, the argument about the Supreme Court picks carries little weight because of Bloomberg's conservatism. At best we'd get someone like Justice Kennedy. At worst, we could end up with another Scalia based on Bloomberg's harsh brand of conservatism.

Mayor Pete had a horrible weekend. Amy K thrashed him in the debates. New Hampshire ripped his soul at with the #WallStreetPete chant, and Joe Biden sonned him with a new ad that makes him sound as inexperienced as he is. Poor Peter.

Finally, Sanders has the movement to beat Trump. Anyone saying otherwise is a goddamned liar.

Episode 806 | Sanders Claims Victory in Iowa | Media Propping Up Pete | Warren Team Defections

Finally, after three days of Pete claiming victory, Bernie Sanders has declared victory in Iowa based on the 6000 additional votes he got over Pete. But is it too late? New polling shows that Pete has closed the gap in New Hampshire to 1% which means New Hampshire is anyone's game.

The media has been complicit in propping up Pete. Particularly MSNBC. Listen to several clips where they completely engage in doublespeak to help Mayor Pete.

Several Black women have left the Warren campaign citing being "tokenized" by management and having their complaints ignored by HR. This does not bode well for Warren at all. Additionally, I feel like this marks the beginning of the end for Warren. However, I'll make the case in this episode that we need not slamdunk over this defection because of how pervasive the issue of tokenization is in ALL of politics from Conservatives to Communists. Not only that, we need to win as many of them over as possible.

Should Sanders team call for a recanvassing? The DNC already has. But my concern is whether we can trust the people who would be involved in the recanvassing. I'm not sure that we can. What do you think?

Finally, a young teenaged Black girl was assaulted by an NYC transit officer over a $2.50 turnstile fee that, as I have been informed, is free for school-aged children anyways. Let's talk about the racial dynamic, but also the class element of cities extracting another TAX from working people through these fees, citations, etc.

With 97% of the data in, Bernie has closed the gap in Iowa and, like many of us have insisted, is in a strong position to win. But, how can we not be disturbed by the sheer incompetence or corruption at play here? And how can we not speculate about the possibility of corruption when all of the errors to date have been to the benefit of one candidate: Mayor Pete.

I called it. Republicans are now filing Ethics Violations against Nancy Pelosi for tearing up Donald Trump's speech. The same Republicans who ignored all of the evidence of Donald Trump's high crimes and misdemeanors. This is an asymmetrical fight and I don't believe the current Democrats are equipped to win it.

Donald Trump has mastered the art of using a kind gesture towards a single individual as a tool to protect the system that placed the individual in need in the first place. For example, he uses a pardon for a Black woman as a means of protecting the criminal justice system that wrongly arrested her in the first place.

Last night was a mess! But let's not blame the poll workers. Let's put the blame squarely where it belongs: Tom Perez, the DNC, and the Iowa State Democratic Party.
An app developed by Shadow, Inc (literally their name), crashed and caucus workers could not report their data.
Internal polling showed that Sanders won. Pete came in second, and Biden somewhere around fourth.

But while no one else claimed victory, sniveling weasel Pete had the unmitigated gall to get on the national stage and claim victory.

Joe Biden is done. As he should be. The people propping him up should be ashamed of themselves.
