The Democratic Party is considering a brokered convention. This is all the media is talking about at this point. As we stated yesterday, the reason they're talking about it now so much is because if they can make you desensitized to the idea, they win.

The most insidious type that we see through the media is the art of making you believe that you made a decision on your own when, in reality, you made one of the decisions they prepared for you. Malcolm X was assassinated 55 years ago today. Every year I honor a man who shaped me in more ways than I can describe. Specifically, Malcolm shaped me because he was a person not afraid of evolution -- he evolved. The humanity inside of Malcolm demanded that he evolved into someone who would fight on behalf of all people.

Last night, we got to see for the first time the reality that the Gods of Capital are inept when compared to us mere mortals of the working class. Mike Bloomberg looked unprepared, unqualified, and mystified that he could not control the stage in the face of the onslaught from Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. It was glorious.

All of the candidates except Sanders said they would be okay with a brokered convention. Basically, they're willing to use the super delegate process to secure their own victory even if that means taking democracy away from the voters.

In a press conference, Bloomberg cracked under pressure from questions by journalists. When asked about his 2015 statement, he said that "It was five years ago and doesn't reflect how I governed." But no, it literally does reflect how you governed, Mr. Mayor.

The real problem with Bloomberg is that, with his pocket change, he can purchase people and our democracy. What we are going through with him is the quintessential example of income and wealth inequality. At this point, he is buying up the staff that other candidates need, leaving nothing for them to use.

I've made a couple of bad bets that left me and my family in tough spots. Mostly, it was my integrity that left me in bad positions. But, sometimes that the cost of integrity.
