Luke Evans is a Welsh actor and singer.
In 2013, Evans starred as the antagonist Owen Shaw in the blockbuster Fast & Furious 6, and also played Bard the Bowman in Peter Jackson's three-part adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. More recently Luke starred as Gaston in Disney's live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, and had a lead role in the period drama series The Alienist. Dave shares what drives the compulsions he has and has had throughout his life. They look at the sliding scale of OCD, some of the unhelpful and (who would’ve thought) helpful ways that it manifests, as well as different treatment options that are available. But most importantly, they answer the eternal question: ‘How can Dave eat ass, but not wear a clean sock that’s been dropped on the floor?’

A panic attack is like a giant wave coming at you. You can’t stop the wave, you can’t punch it, you can’t kick it, but you know it will pass. Knowing that it is going to come and go is the key to riding it out.

Dave, Phivos, and Ben return, this time discussing something they are both very familiar with, ‘Panic Attacks’. A lot more common than you might imagine, Ben listens as our hosts reveal how having them regularly affected their lives, from Phivos walking for miles to avoid the subway, to Dave wondering if his barber is actually going to murder him. Dave & Phivos overcome their procrastination and FINALLY start their podcast. Guided by their friend and practicing therapist Benet, join them as they wander through the world of mental health, on a vulnerable, honest (often shameless) journey to be better.

In this introductory episode, the hosts share a bit about their backgrounds, daily anxiety struggles and compulsions they experience, while Benet does his best to make sense out of all this.
