Tonight, I lead with one of the co-hosts of the longest running and most respected cigar podcasts available anywhere, Johnathan Barbeau (Mr. Johnathan) from The Cigar Authority podcast. We will talk about his background in cigars and then cover many cigar basics as well as some “do’s and don’ts” when it comes to enjoying a premium cigar. Mr. Johnathan known the world over for his quick wit, cigar expertise, knowledge of what is on trend in the market and his diverse tasting pallet.

Taking you back to 12/20/2011 – Christmas is tomorrow and the music stations have been flooding you with the traditional music standards. Why not change it up a bit and add THIS classic to the music repertoire? Back in 2011, the guys from Hot Grill on Grill Action penned a BBQ style Christmas carol based on the “12 Days of Christmas”. I present to you, on this Christmas Eve of 2021, The “12 Days of BBQ Christmas” (now 10 years old).

This song was done live with my 3 daughters as my background singers…I mess up once…but, all in all, we NAILED it! Enjoy the song and enjoy your holiday weekend!!

Cleveland Lands a Pastry Chef on Food Network & The BBQ Snob Talks about John Mueller BBQ! Dec 23, 2021

10:14pm: If you watch the Food Network on Monday evenings then you have been following Season 8 of the Christmas Baking Championships. I bring this up because one of the contestants is from Cleveland. Jose Marchan, who made it to the final of this season, will join me to talk about his time on the show and if he won or not. If you have been watching, you know the results as the finale was aired last night…but if you don’t, you are in for a treat (pun not intended). Jose will talk to us about his background, how he got into baking and what he is doing now with this burst of fame from the Food Network.

10:35pm: Texas Monthly BBQ Editor and quarterly guest Daniel Vaughn joins me tonight. We will talk about the latest passing of another BBQ Legend in John Mueller. Daniel will tell us the place that John had in bringing Texas BBQ to where it is today, the struggles he had and how many considered him to be both a rebel and a genius at the same time. If you don’t know anything about john, we will change that during our time tonight.

2021 Year In Review And An Update on Bobbi’s Hip Surgery! Dec 21, 2021

9:14pm – We kick off the last show before Christmas by doing a bit of 2021 year in review. I will talk about some of the guests that have appeared on the show over the past 12 months, who was great, who was bad and who was surprising.

9:35pm – Last week during the show, mu oldest daughter Bobbi talked about her surgery that she was having that morning. Tonight…WE DO IT LIVE and talk about how the surgery actually went, what the doctors found in that joint and what they ended up doing to the hip to make it right orthopedically.
