Show notes

Welcome to another episode of Bamgboshe Happy Hour with Peju Bamgboshe Rothlisberger and Naomi Bamgboshe! 🍹

This week, Mom and I are catching up on a LOT — from celebrity news and sports drama to Netflix's biggest new shows.

We kick things off with Michael B. Jordan and talk about what's happening with the Hollywood heartthrob, before getting into the latest Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez custody dispute involving their 12-year-old son. We break down the allegations, the temporary court order, and why this situation is much more complicated than a simple celebrity headline.

Then we're talking football and the latest news surrounding Tony Romo and CBS Sports after the network and Romo officially parted ways. What does the future look like for Romo — and can J.J. Watt become CBS's new star color commentator?

We're also diving into Netflix's East of Eden, including the series finale and the complicated Trask family dynamics. Is the adaptation worth watching? And is Florence Pugh's performance as Cathy really the standout?

And finally, we're heading back to Hillman College with Netflix's new A Different World sequel! We talk about Deborah, Shaquille, Ellington, Hazel, Amir, Jalen, Rashida and Kojo — including all the cheating, secrets, relationship drama and those WILD finale cliffhangers.

Plus, as always, expect plenty of Naomi Knows Better, opinions, laughs and a few disagreements between Mom and Peju! 😂
