It seems like just one year ago that Bitcoin was at $9600. In fact, one year ago on this date, one Bitcoin was worth $9618. Fast forward to today and we are more than five times that as Bitcoin has skated across the $50,000 threshold and even tapped $52K.

Uber may start accepting Bitcoin for rides, Dapper Labs is crushing it with NBA Top Shot and a new $2 Billion dollar valuation, and Elon Musk says Mars settlers will use crypto for transacting, perhaps a Marscoin.

He announced that Tesla now owns $1.5 billion in Bitcoin, and the markets reacted with great delight. $50,000 is now in sight as some speculate that Apple could be the next domino to fall in line with Bitcoin acquisition. In fact, Bitcoin has now overtaken gold as the 4th most popular investment vehicle in the United States.

Altcoins are rallying as well as DOGE surges to new heights and WAX rises on news of massive growth. And speaking of WAX, the NFT world is exploding as Capcom’s Street Fighter prepares to launch their NFT series and the Blockchain Heroes just like the stonks.

Since our last news episode, Bitcoin has died once again. It went from almost $42,000 to $32,000 in a flash crash. Some people panicked and mourned the demise of Satoshi’s creation. But for those of us who have been around for a while, we just smiled and waited. It didn’t take long, because 3 days later Bitcoin soared back up to $40,000.

Dead, my ass.

Pantera Capital says Bitcoin will reach $115,000 by August of this year. The Biden administration is prepping a 3 trillion dollar stimulus package. What will that mean to the price of Bitcoin? And now Elon Musk has overtaken Jeff Bezos to become the world’s richest man.
