A.I. EP. 102: “And The Oscar Goes To...” - Oscars 2021 Predictions Episode Apr 22, 2021

Show notes

Although a little delayed, the Academy Awards are finally here! And that means we have to give our predictions!
Before we make our predictions we do our normal intro where we discuss the last movies we’ve watched, what we’ve been streaming and our favorite recent meals.
We had a great time making our predictions and we had very different answers this year. Excited to see who gets the most correct!
We’re going to play the Grouchies again! We’ve made another wager where whoever gets the most categories correct gets to pick a movie for the loser to watch. Both of us have won once so this is the rubber match!
We are also going to make a wager with our Patrons: Whichever Patron gets the most correct predictions can choose for us to do an episode on a movie of their choosing or they can come onto the podcast and do a Top 5 Draft with us! We will be posting the ballots on Patreon and our social media, just fill out the ballots and send them back to us before the Oscars start! Only our Patrons will be eligible to win the contest so become a Patron if you want to be involved!
Enjoy and Good Luck!

A.I. EP. 101: “Just Taaaaaaap It In” - Happy Gilmore 25th Anniversary Apr 15, 2021

Show notes

25 years ago Adam Sandler gave us the big-hearted, volatile hockey player turned golfer, Happy Gilmore. To celebrate this momentous occasion we brought back Cash Campbell, who just so happens to be an avid golfer and grew up loving this film as much as us!
We enjoyed hearing Cash’s takes on this golf comedy classic. There are some quotes we use in everyday life and many that are used every time we’re on the golf course. We also have a very special message in the middle of the pod by a very special guest.
This episode ends with a fun game of Before and After and then our Patrons get to hear us fight it out during our Top 5 Favorite Fist Fights In Film Draft.
We hope you enjoy listening to the fun times whether you’re in your shanty or out and about. If you’re out and about, ARE YOU TOO GOOD FOR YOUR HOME?!
Enjoy!

A.I. EP. 99: “Bueller...Bueller...Bueller” - Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (35th Anniversary) Apr 01, 2021

Show notes

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.” This iconic quote was said 35 years ago by one of the most recognizable characters in cinematic history, Ferris Bueller. Pretty deep stuff coming from a comedy about a high schooler wanting to skip school with his friends.
We brought back a couple of friends we would have loved to skip school with, Aaron Heatbox Heaton and Max Maxaphone Felsheim. We got some pretty hot takes from these fellers and also laughed so hard we hurt afterwards.
This episode ended with a fun game of Before & After and then our Patrons got to hear us battle it out during our Top 5 Favorite Films with a Character’s Name in the Title Draft.

We had so much fun it almost felt like we had just performed a show and were goofing around on the tour bus...except Rob actually stayed up and didn’t go to bed yet.
