There are just two weeks remaining in the typical fantasy football regular season. Playoff berths will be locked up this week. Playoff dreams will be dashed this week. It all makes Week 13 one of the most consequential weeks of the season, even if it doesn't carry the gravitas it did in our previous 16-game, 17-week world.
Beller and Jake break down all 14 games on the Week 13 slate from a fantasy perspective on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast. Is the 50.5 total on Chargers-Bengals oddly high? Is it time to give up on the Seahawks? Could the marquee game of the week, Patriots-Bills, be a snoozer of a fantasy matchup? The guys answer all those questions, and a whole lot more.

We've finally lost one of our two competitors in this two-strike Survivor pool. DVR went down with the Eagles last week, surviving an impressive 12 weeks before succumbing to one of the pool world's most challenging beasts. Beller, meanwhile, remained perfect behind the Patriots' 36-13 win over the Titans.
The guys discuss Week 13 Survivor picks on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast. Do you go with the Vikings in Detroit to get some leverage, or trust the Rams at home against the Jaguars if you have them? Cardinals over Bears in Chicago? Buccaneers over Falcons in Atlanta? Where can we get a little crazy this week? The guys touch on all that, and more.

There are two weeks left in the fantasy football regular season, and the running back position is a total mess. That's where Nando, Chris and Brandon focus their attention on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football podcast. They also discuss OBJ and Jaylen Waddle, late-season surges for Antonio Gibson and Alexander Mattison, Eli Mitchell's league-winning bona fides, and, for some reason, Mike Davis.

It's Beat Writer Tuesday on The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast. Matthew Fairburn (Patriots) and Jon Machota (Cowboys) join Beller to discuss their teams from a fantasy perspective.
What's been the spark behind the Patriots' surge to the top of the AFC East? Is the division of labor between Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson here to stay? What's the status of Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper ahead of Thursday night's game in New Orleans? Our beat writers answer those questions, and plenty more.
After that, Funston joins Beller to open up our Athletic Fantasy Sports mailbag.

At the time this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast goes to air, there will still be one game remaining in Week 12. However, with most fantasy matchups already decided, the final two weeks of the typical fantasy season rest heavy on everyone's mind. Beller, Jake and Funston take what we saw in Week 12 and apply it to these next two weeks on this episode.
It's a surprisingly robust waiver wire heading into Week 13, although for unfortunate reasons. How should managers prioritize the available backs in their leagues? Is it time to worry a little about Tom Brady? Is A.J. Dillon a worthy starter alongside a healthy Aaron Jones? Is Tony Pollard a better player than Ezekiel Elliott? Are there any lingering rookie-wall concerns for Najee Harris or Ja'Marr Chase? The guys get into all that, and a whole lot more.

Michael Beller joins Derek VanRiper to take the first look at the Week 13 waiver wire. An unfortunate week of injuries at the running back position has opened up a few intriguing options to pick up as late-season additions including Alexander Mattison (in shallow leagues), two backs in Tennessee, and a few volume options on bad teams that could help you through the final bye week of 2021.

Beller and DVR get together on the day before Thanksgiving to give thanks that they're still alive in this Survivor pool, and to find picks for Week 12.
Beller's lucky to have the Patriots available, and he zeroed in on them quickly. DVR, meanwhile, had to get a bit more creative with his pick. The guys discuss the top plays, secondary picks, teams to avoid, and more, as well.
