Turns out that a lot of fantasy managers were able to advance out of the first round of their playoffs simply by being less bad than their opponents this season. That was a brutal Week 15 summed up by this one simple fact: With four games remaining, the QB1 class includes four players who scored fewer than 16 points.
Why was Week 15 so bad in the fantasy world? Was it a fluke, or could it tell us something about where the rest of the playoffs are headed? Beller, Jake and Funston discuss those two questions and dig into the full Week 15 slate on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast.

Michael Beller and Derek VanRiper take their first look at the Week 16 waiver wire. Opportunities may be available for running backs in Cincinnati, Miami and Detroit as the fantasy playoffs continue, but could Amon-Ra St. Brown and Gabriel Davis end up serving as viable options to help you win a fantasy football championship in the coming weeks?

Beller, Vic and Zac have just a few more weeks of Five Faves to go, as the guys look to fight their way to profitable records on the season. Their 15 combined picks cover 11 of the 15 remaining games in Week 15, and they find a ton of agreement along the way.
Beller and Vic both like the Steelers catching 2.5 points in Denver, while Beller and Zac are both on the Steelers as 1-point underdogs at home against the Titans. You can get those picks from the show description. For the rest, you'll have to listen.

Beller and DVR are back on the Survivor pool circuit, breaking down the slate for Week 15.
The top pick of the week looks like Cardinals over Lions, but it's likely that many, if not most, people still alive at this point of Survivor pools used the Cardinals to get here. If that's you, Beller and DVR offer up plenty of pivots, including Dolphins over Jets, Cowboys over Giants and 49ers over Falcons.
